The pillows were way to thick, and there was no alternative. There is no elevator, which can be a problem for certain persons, so be aware, and there is no way to walk to the village (Cannero) from the hotel, which is in fact nor really a problem, considering how much cheaper and quieter it was compared to the village hotels, but people should be aware of that fact.

Great bedroom, awesome beds, balcony overlooking the lake, with a fantastic view, super clean with a great bathroom, nicely decorated if a bit modern, free parking, but the best feature of the hotel was the fantastic breakfast with fresh, well-presented, copious foods for all tastes, in a beautiful dining room and another fantastic view of the lago Maggiore.

The room is simple, with no frills. But the view from the window is simply amazing. Delicious breakfast, parking available. The air conditioner didn't work, but they fixed it the next day.

The lack of a kettle in the room and to a much lesser degree, fridge. Parking is outside the hotel but some of the spaces are a little dubious so don't be last to arrive or return. We only stayed one night, a Tuesday, and this is the night they close their kitchen. I don't mind that, but a little message to say so makes the planning a little easier.

Beautiful views from both rooms and the terrace. Very clean and our room had a nice little balcony with lovely views. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and tidy. Breakfast was nice with a very sensible selection of food and drink. Staff were friendly and did their best to converse with us in English as we're poor at Italian.

Nothing I could think of.

This is our second stay in this hotel. We like it because is very nicely situated with a fantastic view over the Lago Maggiore. The hotel is a family affair with a very kind and helpful owner and staff. This time we booked a room with a balcony looking toward the lake. Very relaxing to start or finish the day and looking towards the beautiful view of the lake and surrounding mountains. Breakfast and dinner vere served on the main balcony, having the same view towards the lake. Both meals were excellent, dinner being an excellent gastronomic one. We will be back in the future because we like very much the northern Italian lakes (Garda, Como and Maggiore) and we come back whenever it is possible.

Location was a bit far from the center but we didn’t mind.

Excellent breakfast and very helpful staff, even provided to pick us up from the center after our dinner but we walked. Also helped us to find hiking locations. Flexible check in, we arrived very late at 10pm but was no problem. Free parking. Nice view over the lake.

The nearest town is about 40 minutes walk, and even though it's a nice trail it's a bit dark in the evening. We could go by car but we both wanted to have some wine at dinner. It wasn't too uncomfortable though. The breakfast was OK, although the coffee was surprisingly bland (especially americano, tasted like instant coffee) and most of the egg dishes apart from plain boiled (even a simple scramble) cost extra, so the free options are quite basic. Also my scramble was underdone. On the other hand, croissants were nice and so were fresh bread and jam/honey.

The view from our room (double on the last floor) was amazing! Beautiful lake overlook. The owner was friendly and helpful, gave some directions for dinner (the restaurant at the hotel was booked for the soccer game). Room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of dedicated hotel parking spots on the street.
