Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

QatarI had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The location is perfect, with easy access to local attractions, dining, and shopping. The staff truly made my stay exceptional with their friendliness and kindness. A special mention goes to the housekeeping team, who demonstrated great integrity. I accidentally left my diamond earring on the bed, and they not only found it but also placed it safely next to the bed. I am incredibly grateful for their honesty and care. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient, making my arrival and departure hassle-free. Additionally, the staff were always quick to answer calls and promptly fulfilled any requests I had during my stay.

Bahrain- not all reception shifts were as friendly as morning shift. - room view was on unpleasant view of fire-stairs of the building back not even a road, this was never mentioned anywhere. - bed wasn't kingsize it was too adjacent beds, and tables in pictures in booking were more. - bed lining and pillow of first day were smelling unfresh annoying. - toilet paper holder was broken in the toilet, and they dont replace wet slippers as part of room service. - very slow response for room service when requested. - power socket near the room coffee machine didn't work easily without my own adapter.

Starhotels Collezione in Italy is absolutely wonderful. Rosa Grand is right behind the duomo, so it’s easy to get to places by foot or by metro/tram. We had 2 joining rooms for a family of 4. With Milan as our last stop and all of us being a bit exhausted, the rooms provided great comfort in between our multiple adventures.
