Bed was firm and did not work for a side sleeper. Pillows were good but not optimal down nor choices. Other than opening the windows there is limited to no control over the room air or temperature. This facility is less than two years old but needs maintenance. Window shutters were loose and blew in the wind. Drains needed cleaning. Our room had limited outlet access around the bed (I asked for an extension cord which flummoxed the staff at first). There are no USB connectors. WIFI worked well.

Location was great. Good food and drink venues and other retail within the block. Easy walking to most of the areas of central Rome. Also access to subway and buses is close. Vatican is a few blocks away. The hotel is on the top floor of a multi-use building. It has a 'cool' old style elevator after getting buzzed in the front door but beware that their is a half flight of stairs up after the elevator. Staff is available to lift bags and always greeted us at the door. The rooms have good lights and views. I took the deal on the spa room which translated into good size bedroom and a bath area that was twice as large (I would not do this room again as the proportion of space was awkward and we really only slept in the room.). Staff by and large were excellent... especially Alessandro who always found an answer or solution. Generally, our room was quiet and private. Breakfast was very good and eggs could be cooked to order (coffee is from a large machine that uses pods...not the best).

The lift is quite old but i guess its because of the interior of the building.

It was fully secure, located on the top floor of a building with apartments and other small businesses. The staff was wonderful - super attentive. There was a daily breakfast offered which was just enough to start the day if you chose.

I liked everything, nothing to dislike

The staff were outstanding and they could not of been more helpful, the room was comfortable and it met all of our needs, room was also cleaned everyday with fresh towels and refreshments added to the room daily

Nothing, this place is a must stay when visiting Rome.

The rooms were a great size and extremely clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the service was exceptional. No request was too difficult at any time of day. The views are wonderful too and the breakfast is fantastic - I over ate every day as did my children who loved it too. Super location - short walk to both the Vatican and the Pantheon.

The breakfast is a bit plain, you get some pastry, some yogurt, fruit, cheese, ham and that's about it. It's not an extensive selection to be honest. It was fine with me as I'm not big into heavy breakfast anyways. But if you look for hot food like sausages, beacon etc you might be disappointed. You can however order omelette and fried eggs, I didn't order for the two nights stay but I believe you can if you want.

The location of the accommodation is good, easy access to metro, the Vatican city and it's located on a shopping street. The area feels safe and it's quiet during the night. The room is spacious, especially the bathroom. I stayed in the one with the sauna, the bathroom is huge, you can fit another double bed in there easily. The staffs are very nice and friendly. We were offered water/tea/coffee even after checking out and coming back to get our suitcases. I thought that was very sweet.

We were given an upgrade. Room was extremely clean with a spacious shower. The staff is very courteous and accommodating. The location is within walking distance of all kinds of shopping and restaurants. The breakfast was good.

This was an amazing stay! Central location between some of the great sites in Rome! The breakfast was phenomenal and the staff were so attentive. I really love that it is a relatively smaller location so the units are all really quiet. You get a great upper view of the traditional buildings as well from here.

The room was spacious with Vatican view, the cleanness of the room and reception was perfect, the staff were very helpful and professional, and the breakfast was great. It was in a walking distance from Vatican. They even had a calming music at the bathroom, which was lovely! To be honest, it has everything you expect for a perfect stay!

On my second evening my iPhone charge must have blown a fuse. Spent half the evening until following day with emergency light on in room and no electricity for phone or other devices

Very nice, cozy accommodation to stay in Rome. Very close to the centre and to Vatican, the staff is super kind and helpfull, the breakfast was delicious and the room was super clean and comfortable. We have really enjoyed our stay in The Place 217, we highly recommend!
