Andrew and Alba were just amazing! The place was great and they are great hosts. We spent some time with them and with other guests and had the chance to spend an amazing evening playing Andrew's piano and singing all together. The location is great and the main attractions of the region are all within an hour distance. Great experience!

The location is amazing - right in the heart of Tuscany Chianti region. Gorgeous farmhouse with incredible views, rooms that feel like home from home, and a pool for when you want to chill after exploring! Sonnie and Alba were amazing hosts - every recommendation they gave us was phenomenal! From wine tasting, to parking in Sienna to local restaurants - they can’t do enough for you and are such lovely people. Would definitely recommend this for a truly rustic Tuscan experience and would love to go back!

We loved staying here, the location is great for exploring Tuscany and the view from the garden is magnificent. Andrew and Alba made our stay very comfortable and we super helpful. The building is a an old watch tower and converted into a beautiful guest house. The pool area is also wonderful. We’d love to come back for a longer stay!

We loved it here if we could we would come back here. The owners are the nicest people. The place is so romantic, nice and cozy. The view is lovely. I love how we were relaxing by the pool surrounded by olive trees, a real tusan dream. The little town is right next to it and it’s so cute.

Nothing - we are still enthusiastic. But it should be clear to everyone that it is very quiet there and you need a car.

We were able to book the tower room for 9 nights at very short notice and were thrilled. Andrew and Alba are the warmest and most accommodating hosts we have ever met - and we have been around the world a bit. We did a few day trips during the 10 days and Alba was able to give us a few culinary insider tips for each destination. The two of them were also always available for a chat and we learned a lot about life in Tuscany. Tip: Be sure to ask Alba about the olive oil tasting. The pasta cooking course with Wilma was also great - after that you simply appreciate homemade pasta. The house is idyllically situated amidst several hectares of olive trees and vines, and you can look out over the countryside for miles from the general terrace. Perfect to watch the sunset in Tuscany with a glass of wine or beer and some sausage and cheese. Via a straight and well-maintained dirt road, you are on the next paved road after about 500m and in 5min. in Barberino Val d'Elsa (definitely visit the Triocco restaurant) or in 10min. in Poggibonsi (the supermarket there is huge and offers a large selection of Chianti wines and other souvenirs). Even though it may look like it on Google Maps, walking to the nearest restaurant (restaurant tip: La Sosta di Pio VII) is too far and dangerous, especially at night, because of the narrow streets without footpaths. Our room was the 2-storey tower room. The well-equipped kitchen (gas cooker, large fridge with freezer, etc.) is on the 1st floor and the bedroom and bathroom are on the 2nd floor. There is air conditioning in the large bedroom and a beautiful view of Tuscany from the windows. All in all, Andrew and Alba have more than fulfilled our expectations with Torre Di Ponzano. We were very sad when the 10 days were over and we had to move on. We will definitely come back.

We loved everything. Hosts are such a lovely couple, who makes you feel like at home. They gave us so many recommendations and even reserved a table for dinner in local restaurants. Both speaking perfect English. Rooms are clean and nice. Pool is excellent in sunny days. Couldn’t describe views and sunset - it’s amazing!!! Located between olive and wine trees. Definitely will visit them again, because they are a rare find and I have visited Italy so many times.

This place is stunning. Beautiful and old architecture meets modern elements so your stay is comfortable and very picturesque. If you ever had a dream about the most beautiful evening in Tuscany it was probably worse than what you can experience in Torre di Ponzano. Come here, pour some wine and enjoy one of the best views you will ever see (especially during sunset). I have to mention lovely hosts, Mr Andrew and Mrs Alba are very welcoming and they will make sure that your stay is perfect. I came here on my birthday without mentioning it, but as soon as this was brought up they arranged one of the best evenings of my life. Do I need to write more? Just come here and enjoy life :)

Liked everything. Very attentive, kind and helpful owners of the hotel. They helped in all matters, where to go to the beach, in which restaurant to dine, what to visit and so on. A beautiful area, a real Tuscany. I recommend to everyone.
