Location could not be better, classic style, view and staff in the restaurant and bar areas.

Room was slightly small and drains in bathroom were a bit smelly (maybe some nice diffusers would help) but it is an old building and the public areas and staff made up for it.

The hotel is in a fantastic setting. Right at the heart of everything, in beautiful gardens with a lovely pool. The sea views are outstanding. The staff were all lovely. Great service. Public rooms are beautiful and elegant.

Perfect location with stunning views over the Bay of Naples. Traditional classic Italian style hotel with high ceilings & tiled floors. Breakfast was exceptional in a beautiful dining room with spectacular views. Staff were so accommodating & lovely.

it is very expensive but for the area maybe that is just to be expected. for the money the rooms are very nice but not exceptional

Shower is a little small.

The beds and pillows were like sleeping on plywood but I have come to realize this is typical in Europe unless staying at a Marriott brand hotel or similar. The bathroom was very dated and cramped and the hair dryer will give you carpel tunnel if you have long hair as you have to keep button pressed to stay on and power us half of US hairdryer.

Perfect location, easy access to the ferries and “beach” as well as being in the heart of all of the cute Sorrento alleyways and main roads that have loads of shopping and restaurants. The hotel has a nice breakfast with a beautiful space overlooking the water and Capri, bar also with balcony right on the water. Great waterfront hotel.

As we were on the third floor and top of the hotel we took a while to get our bearings so a sign to reception would be useful but added to the charm.

We booked a room with a garden view but we ended up with a room in the attic with a limited sea view which was a a bonus and lovely. We had a view of Versuvius and the beach below.

The water views from out terrace, the restaurant and bar terrace were spectacular. And my daughter has celiac, so they were very gracious to accommodate each breakfast with many gluten-free treats - we didn’t even have to ask after the first day - they remembered. The restaurant staff was superb and the food was amazing. Would definitely recommend (and go back).

The common areas are nicely arranged, but the rooms should be updated, at least the curtains and bed covers, which were with torn edges in our room, and the surface of the sofa was also worn. The room had a slight smell of old premises and mold (maybe the weather wasn't very warm yet), but with the balcony open it was not bad at all. Also, it would be nice to have coffee/tea making facilities in the room. All in all, it's the little things that are really outweighed by the overall nice spirit of the hotel.

The location of the hotel, the breathtaking views, the long history of the hotel, the overall atmosphere and staff, the breakfast was also excellent.

While I understand the beauty of this hotel is old Italy and it was beautiful!!!!! throughout- there were no drawers to put clothes in for our 4 day stay. There were plenty of hangers but I had to keep all clothes on the luggage rack. I wish they had a magnifying mirror for putting on makeup

The location was SUPERB- we had a sea view room and it was perfect location to beaches and all the restaurants were walk to. The pool area was very nice- loved the sitting areas and the bar for night caps overlooking Sorrento Bay
