Lovely welcome, superb setting, room spacious, lovely garden setting and views. Kitchen areas had all you wanted if needed. Nice spacious lounge area upstairs. Views are stunning, obviously have to walk uphill to house to get those views, we managed without a car, though car parking is on site. Loved the chat with Fabio,as if i was speaking to an old friend ! Cristina and Fabio ,Grazie mille !

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property. Everything worked perfectly, and the hosts were exceptional.

Cristina and Fabio are amazing hosts who make you feel at home and do everything to help and support their guests. They are always attentive, offering helpful advice and great recommendations. Their kindness made a big difference. The villa is on a hill, offering stunning views of Lake Maggiore and the Borromean Islands. The interiors are tastefully decorated by Cristina, with many rooms having kitchen facilities and a spacious living room. All the amenities you could need are provided, including a wellness area with a sauna and Turkish bath, making it feel just like home.

A very stylish house and also the room is very unique. We loved the view over the lake and it is only a 10min walk down to the city/lake, so you can leave you car at the house. 2 friendly dogs and a beautiful big cat live in the garden. You can cook and prepare your breakfast, everything you need is there. Fabio is a great host!

The views were insane and the accommodation was very clean and beautifully styled. Fabio and his wife were very kind and took their time to explain all there is to see in and around Stresa. This is definitely one of the best places I’ve stayed at.

Would be splitting hairs to find anything major… would definitely stay there again. I would recommend to anyone except those allergic to pets.

Views of the lake - spectacular. The rooms are higher quality than most hotels, far more spacious, and there are two kitchens to cook in, one of which gives you the chance to dine with floor-to-ceiling views of Lago Maggiore. Fabio and Cristina are most gracious and welcoming hosts. A+

Everything. We had a spacious and clean room for 3 adults and there was excellent communal cooking facilities. The views from the house and the gardens are stunning and the property is in close walking distance to stresa and the lake. The hosts were truly wonderful and really made our trip. We hope to come back soon.

Thank you very much for letting us stay in your house. We loved it from the first to the last minute :-) The furnishings are unique, the shared living/dining area a relaxed meeting place, and the view of Lake Maggiore is magnificent. Thank you for your warmth, your focus on your guests and everything was wonderful. Easy parking from the property, super helpful hosts, supermarket and restaurants within walking distance, pet friendly. Large great sunbathing lawn.

Located at top of hill so may be a struggle for some. Very steep driveway. Bed was hard

Host Fabio was fabulous! Very accommodating, nothing was to much to ask. Stunning views of the lake. Very quiet and peaceful as further out of town. Nice 20-30 minute walk into town on sunny days. Very clean Two beautiful Saint Bernard dogs on the property. We felt very safe and in good hands.

Everything was perfect.

While the location, views, comfort and rooms are already wonderful, the fantastic hosts are what make this the best accommodation in Stresa. Unbelievably helpful, kind, friendly and welcoming, Fabio & his wife have created a real gem of a B&B through their kindness. You feel welcomed and comfortable since the very start, the rooms are comfortable and have great views. The main kitchen area has the best views, and great facilities to feel at home. Absolute 100% perfect experience, and we will only come back to Un Sogno Sul Lago in Stresa!

The very well kept property is located in the best area of Stresa, in a short walking distance from the railway station and the lake. The view is phantastic and offers a glimpse of paradise. A lovely park to which a colorful collection of Mediterranean plants and majestic trees add grace and invite serene tranquility. Fabio and Christina are very attentive hosts, with a great sense of service and a strong desire to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

No English TV channels - all Italian so helped learning Italian a little.

Fabbio and Christina were super helpful and gave very good restaurant recommendations. The view from the expansive lounge was sensational. Cute St Bernard adult and pup.
