Spacious and tastefully furnished.

A beautiful, spacious, fully equipped apartment only 1 min walk from the coast (you can catch a glimpse of the water from the balcony). Although it’s on one of the main streets (pretty balcony), it was calm. One of the best places we stayed in in Sicily. Would happily return. It wasn’t cold even in December unlike most apartments we rented on the trip. The A/C was very powerful as a heater too. Parking about 10 min walk from the house, at the entrance of the island. Smooth communication with our host for check in. Grazie!

The only unpleasant thing is the noise coming from the restaurant well into the night hours.

Good location, very close to the water, which you can see from the balcony, as pictured. Inside we found a charming apartment, designed with attention to detail, and many beautiful accents. It is equipped with everything one would need for a comfortable stay. The lady host responded promptly to our requests. Overall a very pleasant experience.

I wanted to mention here that you will only receive one piece of toilet paper because this is not a hotel or a b&b!! (that’s what the owner told us, exclamations included) It would have been nice to know before waking up in the morning, we were 4 people, and realized that there is no toilet paper available. I have no problem with buying my own, but it was not at all an ok attitude and it should be mentioned somewhere. As usual, Italy either gives you very nice people or not nice at all 😄

The apartment is lovely! The location is great, close to everything and a small beach, super clean and comfortable. I really have absolutely nothing negative to say about it. We totally recommend it and it would have received a complete 10 from us.

The keys were not in the lockbox when I arrived, which delayed check-in. Once in the apartment, there was no toilet paper. However, the host was very responsive and quickly resolved these issues. The wifi in the apartment was very weak.

The location was perfect for walking around the city and is nearby many shops, restaurants, and sea views. The balcony overlooking the street was very cute and perfect to sit on for breakfast or a coffee. The apartment itself is large and well-maintained. I would have liked to stay in this location longer.

It would have been good to have a kitchen towel to dry plates etc In the mornings the flat got a little noisy being on the main pedestrian road of Ortiga but we didn’t mind.

Not ideal for winter, cold walls, missing central heating system, need to wait for warm water.

It's noisy above Via Roma. Either you are out late or you need ear plugs to get to sleep. I'd also have liked a broom and a tea towel supplied.

The apartment is first class, perfect for a couple, and so well situated. We loved the balcony..little but perfectly situated to watch life on Via Roma.

Main issue was shower water. A full shower would be lukewarm after waiting 5 minutes for the water to heat up. Then it would become scalding for the 2nd shower, then cold again. Maybe not such an issue in the summer heat but with a very cold and damp bathroom, it was not comfortable. Would have been nice if laundry detergent had been provided or check-in had been easier - just little things that could go much more smoothly to make a nicer stay for guests.

Nice spacious flat in great location, next to a small beach and you could hear the waves of the ocean at night even! The bed was comfortable and the quirky decor gave it personality. We were able to use the washing machine as well. Very good price for the size of the flat.
