Varenna is such a beautiful village. From the minute I booked the accommodation, our host, Liz was a joy to deal with. We got in touch through WhatsApp and from there, planning my itinerary was a breeze. The property is fabulous. It's spacious, clean and equipped with whatever you need to stay in comfort. We were there during winter. The heaters and the lovely fireplace made the property so warm and cosy. Perfect after exploring the town. The location of the property is ideal. Walking distance to the train station (we took a direct train to Milan Central to do some sightseeing and shopping) and to the piers. We took a ferry to visit Bellagio and Como. Liz was kind enough to send me the ferry timetable even before I reached Varenna. I didn't really know how to read the timetable and guess what, Liz helped me to plan my schedule and her planning was amazing. Gave me plenty of time to explore Bellagio and Como. Checking in and out was seamless. When we reached the property, we found that there were many foodstuffs such as eggs, cereals, milk, biscuits etc for us. It is really a lovely gesture and we appreciated it. Last but definitely not the least, I have to commend Liz for being an excellent host. She is so easy to deal with and she definitely made our stay in Varenna a very memorable one. She was my personal Google while I was there. It was my pleasure getting to know her. Grazie Liz 😃. If you ever decide to visit Varenna, I would highly recommend this property. It's amazing!

The cars pass fast near the villa.

Everything..Its home away from home. the location, amenities, and comfort of the villa made our journey more enjoyable. Moreover, the houst Liz is very kind and helpful. We really appreciate the welcome food and drinks she arranged for us. Villa central Varenna is highly recommended for families of 5 and more if you don't mind the stairs.

Beds were a little squeaky but still comfortable enough.

Liz went out of her way to make us feel welcome. She prepared a welcome tray of food and drink which served us well for breakfast the few nights we were there. Also called to make sure we were settled in and comfortable. Wonderful for weddings at Villa Cipressi as I was travelling with babies and needed to be nearby. Appreciated that I did not have to climb up steps and steep slopes, and taxis could easily drop me in front of the doorstep.

The single room in the top floor was quite uncomfortable There is a multi-story carpark next to the apartment so there was some noise in the night, but overall not a problem

I liked everything.

This property has a great central location, very close to the TI, grocery, and restaurants. There is a beautiful view from the top floor. The kitchen is great, roomy and well-equipped. The host even stocked the frig with basics like eggs and butter and juice. Yogurt and milk. Bathrooms are huge. There are two rooms with queen beds and also 4 twins. What I totally loved after two weeks of traveling was the washing machine and hanging/drying options. The host was also very helpful with suggestions, super easy to access the space with her directions.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

The Villa was home from home, so roomy and comfortable, Liz had left a welcome pack which was greatly appreciated. The location was perfect for us as my daughters wedding was close by at Villa Cipressi, so it made everything so much easier, we wouldn't definitely love to stay again at the Villa Central.

Absolutely nothing :)

The exceptional location of Villa Central in Varenna, close to everything you need to see. Liz is a wonderful host and so helpful - not just during our stay but weeks before our arrival, she guided us with everything we wanted to know about Lake Como, Varenna, what to see and visit, best ways to travel etc. The villa itself is spotless clean, so well-maintained and felt like home away from home! All essential supplies were superbly provided, so you dont need to go out looking for living essentials on the day you arrive. The day we arrived, it was raining and therefore we just settled into the villa and spent a wonderful evening at the villa, cooking, watching TV and just resting after a really long trip across Europe. The villa is two storeyed, super spacious and the view of the Lake from the balcony of the Master Bedroom is gorgeous! A beautiful sit-out area on Level 2 also provided a magical experience during our stay! If you ever wish to spend a wonderful holiday on Lake Como, i would choose Varenna, and Villa Central, every time!

Liz left us 'starter' supplies for breakfast, plus a good selection of essentials for cooking and coffee making. Facilities for cooking, washing and ironing were excellent. Liz also provided us with touring information and restaurant recommendations, and all necessary instructions for our stay at Villa Central and Varenna. it was an easy stroll to the main square, as well as to the ferry terminus. The availability of parking close by, negatIng the need to schlep our luggage any distance, was a bonus. A most enjoyable sojourn.

We have no complaints, everything was great.

We loved the location of the property with its close proximity to everything in Varenna. The views out of the upper windows were especially impressive. There was plenty of space for our adult family to have their own space as well as congregate in the communal areas. Liz was exceptionally helpful, ensuring our check in was smooth and providing recommendations for the region. The villa had everything we wanted, we could not have asked for more!

Beautiful place, the location was ideal, the beds were comfortable, and our hosts were generous and even had food items waiting for us when we arrived to make our stay extra comfortable. The view from the top floor bedroom was incredible. We could not have asked for anything better!

Great arrival. We were able to leave our luggage at the property. The host was amazing and let us check in as soon as they were finished cleaning. This is a cute house and very clean. The view from the third floor was beautiful. She had some welcoming foods and beverages. The location was great!!!!!! The wedding venue was very loud. But glad to see people out and celebrating.

The weather was not so kind, but we fitted in just about everything and it all went very smoothly!

The location was excellent because we needed to be close to the Hotel Cipriessi because my daughter was holding her wedding there, and then being so close to the centre of Varenna was a bonus. We walked in the hills, found some excellent restaurants, caught the boats to other villages and had a wonderful time.

Fabulous location in central Varenna. The house was much larger than we had expected and the spa bath was a lovely surprise, The owner could not have been more helpful and accommodating. We were delighted with the whole stay.
