The village of Castellina in Chianti is located in the area where the magnificent Chianti Classico red wine is produced. In its surroundings, remarkable landscapes are revealed, many of which can be emblematic of Tuscany and in particular of the famous wine region. The hotel "Villa Christina" is located at the end of the village and offers convenience for a short stay. In the morning we were offered a good breakfast with excellent Italian coffee. Nothing really. The customer interaction was very hands off and we didn't catch up with hotel owner until Day 3, but no issue.

Great location for visiting the region of Tuscany, pool area was quiet and pool was clean, the room was cool and comfortable even though it had no A/C. Breakfast was adequate and made a good start to the day. I'd recommend this hotel as it provided everything we wanted from our 4 night stay.

Sadly we got a DEP room, which was in the attic and had only a tiny floor level window. This made the room really stuffy inside in June as there was no fan or aircon. The shower was also a bit wayward, and had to he held in your hand.

Loved this building, just a short walk from town in a quirky old property furnished with antique type furniture. Room was very clean and had a large Floorprint, although being an attic room the height was low. The bed was super comfy. The gardens around the house were lovely to sit in and the swimming pool was also lovely and refreshing.

Check in and getting our room was a little difficult because they wanted an exact time, and since we were cycling from Florence, I could only give an estimate. Once I called after we arrived, we were able to get the key to our room.

Location was close to town. Breakfast was wonderful. Appreciated having a room on the ground floor since we had our bikes. Nice outdoor patio.

Breakfast was lovely- good variety. Staff so friendly! Clean, clear pool. Lovely seating areas. Fan was great for warm nights. Very easy walk to Main Street with shops, restaurants and park. Quiet road, beautiful view. We loved it and will definitely stay again. Some furniture was older, but charming.

We were given instructions on how to arrive. The key was in a box and made our way to the bedroom. The free parking is a bonus. Althouogh it is a country home, the room we stayed in the decoration is outdated and some maintenance is needed. The breakfast is varied.

The room was just beneath the rooftop so, as it was summer, it's been extremely hot. The window was extremely small (0.5 mq, i'd say) so the air din't circulate. A room like that simply shouldn't be used during the summer! The lack A/C, even if correctly indicated, is definitely a weak point.

The location is nice and historical, the general impact is nice. The pool looked good too, despite we didn't have time to have a bath.

There was nobody at the counter for the check-in. We arrived within check-in time, however, in the door it was written a different schedule than online. We had to wait but even with that nobody arrived. Finally we contacted via whatsapp (you'll need internet abroad for that) and we were sent a code and a video to get to the room. We were given a spacious but fresh room but it was extremely hot and we could barely sleep. We were expecting something more on the breakfast side, but it was ok.

Good location close to the village. Pool and pool area are great. There is a big parking lot, however, the entrance is a bit narrow so be careful if you have a big car.
