We stayed for 9 days. A little more variation in the breakfast would have been nice as it's the same everyday. So we got breakfast on our own for those days we left early to make one of our scheduled tours.

Nice Room and the Property has stunning views of the valley. The location provided a great spot to be a hub for visiting San Gimignano, Florence, Siena, Pisa, and Lucca.

Our host and staff were wonderful and very helpful. The surrounding countryside, with views of vineyards, olive orchards and villas was beautiful and only a short drive to the beautiful town of San Gimignano. We will definitely stay here again.

Everything! It was a slice of heaven! Truly loved our 4 days here. You need a car to get here though and you will find ample parking. The rooms were very cozy and it was the best bed and pillows I’ve had in 4 weeks! The breakfast is plentiful and super yummy. If it is warm outside you have a picnic basket brought to your linen covered table. Here you will find an assortment of buns, meat, cheese, boiled eggs, tomatoes, yogurt, fruit, nuts, coffee and tea in a thermos which I loved as it was hot! Cereals and jams too. They will also make you an omelette. There is a beautiful pool, wish it was warm enough to swim in it! Loved their dog Lila 🐾 Villa Del Sole is only a 10 minute drive to San Gimignano, parking was easy. We found it further to drive to Montepulciano and Pienza than I realized but we still did it, 1 1/2 hrs. Enjoyed both towns doing a leisurely walk and time for lunch, back at 6pm. We drove to Florence which was only 1 hour. You can definitely drive to Florence, park at the Piazzale Michelangelo. Highly recommend! We had great weather when we came so it made everything very special.

A very nice house located in the peaceful hills outside Gimignano. A beautiful garden with a pool, and superb views. Very quiet and nice! The breakfast in the sunny garden was nice! The host is very friendly.

Wonderful spot near San Gimignano. Comfortable beds and warm hosts. Loved that it came with a full heart breakfast which you can enjoy in the garden with a fantastic view of the Tuscany hills!

Room not as large as I envisioned. Clothes storage was limited. No control over lights outside room, which stayed on until very late.

Beautiful setting, great staff/service. Great breakfast each day. Welcomed with a glass of wine was very nice. Great location for day-tripping the area.

You cannot beat the view. I searched everywhere for a villa with a good view and I came across Villa del sole. You can never be too sure about anything though until you get there in person. And it did not disappoint!!! It is a million dollar view.
