Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IrelandStaff don’t speak English (not a complaint just a fact) Local area difficult to navigate (not the hotels fault)
V. Difficult to rate this as if you take into consideration the location, you deserve what you get. Naples is near impossible to navigate so it took me 3 hrs to find the hotel (which turned out to be a 20min train trip! .. way back is much easier to navigate than way to… ) not the hotels fault! Google maps! The staff speak basic/zero English (again, not the hotels fault, it’s their home) … so apart from that, the hotel was beautiful! Poolside beers in scorching 30” heat! What’s not to love! Staff were as helpful as they could be ! I was there off-peak season so it a lot of people around… if your in Naples and better than me at navigating back streets I’d recommend it cause the place was beautiful

United KingdomPortici is a small place. So if you want to have dinner outside, choices are limited. Also breakfast options are limited in the hotel.
Excellent hotel. The owner and were super friendly. I was bowled over by the fact that they offered to pick us up from the train station that’s 10 minutes away, at no extra cost. And this happened 3 times when we were exhausted after sightseeing and came to thr via liberta train station at 10 pm. Rooms are also very spacious and comfortably accommodated 4 of us.

We booked this hotel as we were travelling by car & wanted to visit Naples but didn’t want to drive into the centre. Easy to find, very convenient for a stop over, just off the motorway. Good public transport links to Naples, 10 minute walk to Bellavista train station & 20 minutes into Napoli Centrale train station. Very helpful, pleasant staff. Good parking. Great continental style breakfast. Large, clean, quiet & comfortable room. Would highly recommend this hotel.

AustraliaThe room requires a little better maintenance particularly the air conditioning and drainage of the sink and shower but overall it was good.
The hotel had everything you needed. The staff were very friendly and made you feel welcome. Having a restaurant in the hotel was an advantage and the food was delicious.

GermanyThe only things to critique are very minor but it would be good if they were fixed. Room #1 did not have shutters, blinds nor blackout curtains, so the light came right in. The opaque curtains did not close all the way, so I used a pants hanger to keep them closed, since we were on the ground floor and staff members sometimes walked by. They should at least get blackout curtains that can shut all the way in order to block the sun. We never mentioned it because it was very cloudy and rainy during our visit and we slept right through from the sheer exhaustion of our trip. One shower door was missing the plastic to block the water from escaping, so the water would puddle easily outside the shower. The hair dryer is one of these white ones attached to the wall. I always bring my own but I would want to know this in advance. We paid less the previous year and breakfast had been included then. This year it was extra. It's minor but as returning guests, we would appreciate including it. Aside from these minor things, our stay was lovely and we look forward to having better weather next year so we can enjoy the beautiful pools.
We stay here every year when we visit my in-laws. We chose this hotel for its pool and proximity to their home. Unfortunately, the weather was rainy this time and we could only enjoy the sight of the pool. The staff is always cordial and the grounds are very pretty with the two pools and lovely landscaping. It is not far from the circumvesuviana train and near the shopping area as well. It is also easy for our in-laws to pick us up here. The staff is always on hand for anything you might need. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are spacious and there is plenty of room for our things. The bathroom is large and has a spray bidet as well as a bidet bowl. There are plenty of towels and everything is perfectly clean. They clean the rooms daily and change the towels when needed. There is also air-conditioning and a minifridge as well as plenty of outlets for my needs. Wifi works well and is fast enough. I forgot my pearl earrings on the nightstand after checking out and the cleaning lady ran out to find me in order to make sure I had them. I really appreciated that since they had been a gift. It is all very pleasant and we look forward to staying there again next year. We would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the area as it is easy to take the train to Naples, Pompei, or even Sorrento. We were there from a Monday-Friday and there were no events that we noticed. Everything was perfectly quiet with the exception of the church bells.

EstoniaThe location is good, If you would like to have a "lazy vacation", it is isolated from the tourists area, so there is not much to do other than tan in your sunbeds and swim.
Very wonderful staff, super outside area, the pools and floors are always cleaned. Room was cute as well.

GermanyNo place is perfect so here are the minor things which weren't great: The towel warmer had cold water running through it, so we couldn't dry anything on it. Perhaps it's due to our being so hot out, but I would have used it, had it been possible. Otherwise, it would have been useful to have some kind of drying rack for our swimsuits. They have events there and it wasn't a problem until some of the guests started talking loudly and yelling right outside our door after midnight. However, I called the number listed on the booking app and after one ring, they picked up and assured me they would handle it. They inmediately did and we didn't hear anything after that. So while noisy guests can occur anywhere, it is how it's handled that makes a difference, and they handled it perfectly. I appreciated it. The church bells at 7.30am are annoying but that's not the hotel's fault. It's pretty common all over Italy. So I'd definitely recommend this place as it has everything you need plus a lovely pool.
We stayed here while visiting the in-laws and we wanted to stay somewhere with a pool. The pool was wonderful! It was just us the entire time. In fact I never saw anyone else in the large pool. This was in May and I'm sure it's due to this time period. Make sure you pack a swim cap, it's required. We stayed for 2 weekdays so it wasn't a crowded time. Everyone was very nice and attentive. Breakfast was fresh pastries, juice, coffee and fresh fruit. I would have loved a shirt breakfast with eggs, but it was fine. No complaints. They were even nice enough to allow a friend to join us for breakfast and they didn't charge us for it, so I think that was a lovely gesture. The bed was very comfortable and so were the pillows. The air-conditioning worked well. The TV equipped with Sky. The room was spacious and so was the bathroom. The location was near the shopping area and there are plenty of restaurants just a short stroll away. It's also a short stroll from the circumvesuviana train that goes to the station. We enjoyed our stay.

PolandThe pool closed at 18:00 making it difficult to use if you're main purpose is sightseeing. Breakfast is just served to you at the table (you can't even choose yoghurt flavor). The staff speaks little to no English.
Delicious pizza at the hotel restaurant. The room was a bit run down (especially the bathroom) but clean and very spacious. Location is convenient for people travelling by car - very close to the highway exit.

I had an emergency situation and found myself looking for a hotel at midnight. I was welcomed at Villa Colombia with a level of professionalism, discretion and politeness that is today hard to find. I ended up staying two days, the service was always great, the room was very comfortable and beautiful, the building is gorgeous and surrounded by trees and with two swimming pools to start or end the day with a quick plunge and some sun bathing.

The property has three pools and lots of sun beds! Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean with beautiful decor. The rooms are big, with a comfortable bed and a gorgeous bathroom. The shower always has hot water and is dreamy! The hotel is well located with transport links that we’ll get you to most attractions/locations in the region. It was easy to get to Vesuvius, Pompeii, Herculaneum, the water park and Sorrento. The breakfast was plentiful. We are sad to be leaving and would love to come again!
