Beautiful setting for a hotel just on the outskirts of Alba. We were surrounded by nature with great views and lovely gardens and plants. The hotel is charming and full of character and very comfortable.

Beautiful location and very warm welcome of the host. The whole stay was simply perfect. The breakfast was delicious and enjoying it immersed in the Langhe landscape is a stunning experience. It was amazing walking from Alba to Barbaresco, in the middle of hazelnut trees and vineyards, following the recommendation of the host. Such a perfect stay! We look forward to having the chance of visiting Villa la Meridiana soon.

We were warmly welcomed on arrival by Elisa, who showed us around the property and to our room. The room was perfect and had a little balcony where we had lunch on the second day of our stay. With the weather being pleasant, we were able to enjoy breakfast on the terrace. Great choice at breakfast and super-friendly service from the owners. The property is situated close to Alba and a short walk took us down into the city each evening for dinner.

Such a lovely, charming place! Set on a panoramic hilltop above the city of Alba, with gorgeous views, also of the Alps in the background. The owners could not have been more friendly, or gracious. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Really wonderful stay!

We did not get the best room, but was only available and still very good value for money.

Great and welcoming host. Location amazing position on top of Alba. Is also available a play room with billiard, table football and outside a ping pong table. For the summer season a swimming pool with view on Alba and wineyards. We also got organised a wine testing in a wine producer nearby, also great experience and of course good wine! We would like to come back.

Amazing place, there is not much more you can hope for. First of all the staff, so amazing and helpful. The Best breakfast with good Coffee, bread, cheeses, eggs, sweet croissants, youghurt etc. Parking, pool, lot of activities pool table, ping pong etc. Great views and surroundings for walking. Big recommendation.

Andrea was amazing, hospitable, helpful and friendly! He helped us with everything we needed. At breakfast he offered fresh fruit from his garden and local cheeses. The swimming pool was incredible and very relaxing.

We had a lovely stay at Villa La Meridiana. Andrea is a great host and prepared a wonderful breakfast every day. We were allowed to bring our dog and went for morning walks on the nearby trail. The city center of Alba is a 15-20 mins walk.

Villa La Meridiana is a paradise a few minutes away by car from the city centre of Alba. The friendly and knowledgeable host Andrea and his family made our stay very pleasant. There was a great variety at the breakfast buffet, beautiful swimming pool with comfortable places to rest in the shade and the whole building is well maintained. Highly recommended!

Nothing at all

We stayed in several different places during this vacation, but this one was clearly our favorite. Lots of attention to tiny details - style of the rooms so nice, from tea cups to pictures on the walls, the pool was FANTASTIC, clean great temperature water and the panoramic view there, the sunsets, could sit there for hours. It was quiet and felt very private. Loved to play billiard in the evenings and breakfast was very good, fresh orange juice very tasty. Everything sparkling clean and the owner very nice and caring. The atmosphere of the villa is so cozy. Already miss this place a lot and feeling nostalgic about it.

Villa La Meridiana was wonderful. We were greeted as we got out to the car by the host who showed us the beautiful property and gave us recommendations for things to do in the area, and where to eat during our stay. The breakfast was out on a patio and the food was excellent. Would highly recommend this property.

We had a fabulous experience. The staff were extremely kind. the location, the bed and bathroom, the balcony, the view were all exceptional. The breakfast was a spread of breads, cheeses, sweets, pastries, fruit, yogurt and granola, fresh orange juice, it was amazing, definitely the best breakfast of our whole trip. We'd love to come back some time. On our last evening we picked up some pizza, bought a nice bottle of wine and just relaxed on the balcony and watched the sun set over Alba. It was a great way to wrap up our trip in Italy.

The bed was too hard for my taste.

The family who own this beautiful property do a wonderful job, paying attention to small details from setting bistro tables throughout the property so that guests can sit and enjoy the view overlooking Alba to placing a rose and cold water in the room each day. Breakfast was excellent, and the location was perfect for walking to Alba. There are lots of places throughout the property where guests can sit with a glass of wine and food in lieu of dining in town, which we appreciated after traveling for a week. I absolutely recommend Villa la Meridiana to anyone visiting the area.
