Didn't I say it was perfect.

Beautiful very stylishly decorated villa Nice swimming pool, good breakfast, friendly easygoing host, easy parking, great views. We felt very much at home and slept well. (Easy to find as Google Maps recognises the name of the villa)

We spent 3 weeks in Italy. This was our favorite accommodation. No complaints whatsoever. You must have a rental car to stay here, there are no public transportation options.

This couldn't be more perfect. The host was great, the building is set up like a little hotel rather than an apartment with a possibly shared kitchen which is quite common throughout Italy. The location was marvelous with great views of the Tuscan countryside. Breakfast was terrific. We found ourselves wishing we had stayed more than one night. Perfect, perfect, perfect. It was a tremendous value for the price. Lucca - one of our favorite cities - is close by.

The bed could be more comfortable. The villa is not fully up to date, but what to expect from such a historic building.

This is the real deal if you want to stay over in a historic Tuscan villa. The rooms are spacious and ooze history. The garden offers comfort and privacy. The villa is located on a hilltop (with a great view) and conveniently close to Lucca. The owner is welcoming and respects your peace and quiet. All day long free tea, coffee, cookies and fruits.

It was nice to have privacy and we wanted to stay in the country, but a rental car is definitely needed.

Amazing, gorgeous villa. The bedroom was spacious and everyone was so friendly.

The pump in the toilets - need to push few times to flash the water

Beautiful location - on a top of a hill with Toscana view surrounding and very close to Lucca. We got great recommendations from the tall person who runs the Villa (for restaurants, trips). Big rooms, huge bath room with a big window. Nice breakfast.

One of the most exceptional accommodations during my 10-day trip to Italy. The property is beautifully situated amidst olive trees, offering a picturesque setting. The host was outstanding, having everything prepared before our arrival. An evening chat with him revealed fascinating history. The breakfast provided was superb, with 24/7 availability of coffee, fruits, and more.

A prefect villa in the hills above Lucca. We stayed 5 nights, 3 of us in very comfortable beautiful room with superb views. The host was very accomodating and served a lovely breakfast in the communal dining area. The pool area was lovely if a little chilly in the water. Walking around the area was a delight. We would love to return again to this wonderful location. Grazie Mille Duccio!

One of the most beautiful villa we have ever been before. The room was amazing and it was a combination of modern and antic style. The villa is located on the top of a hill, with a fabulous view and it’s very close to Lucca. We will be back for sure!

This is literally the only place we've ever stayed where I would not change a thing. Our only complaint was that we could not move in.

We were blown away by how beautiful the villa itself was. The grounds are just lovely, the views from the rooms and the pool are spectacular and the host was the tops. Curated soft jazz music playing in the lounge 24/7 made it feel like a cozy home away from home. I wish we could have stayed for a few more days actually. Lucca was great, but we enjoyed relaxing at the villa even more. Highly recommended!!!

A beautiful house with many interesting and individual features. The views from pool terrace are lovely. The host is most amiable and made us feel very welcome. We had a very good dinner at the Villa which was served outside by the pool. The Villa is very convenient for visiting Lucca but is also in a very quiet and peaceful location. During a very hot spell it was a welcome escape from the heat. The breakfast and all day availability of refreshments were also most welcome.
