We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

South AfricaThe hotel needs a facelift to make it more modern, especially for the price. I’ve been fortunate enough to have stayed at many hotels over the years and cannot justify the price of the room for what I got. It’s overpriced. There was also music playing throughout the night of my stay which bothered me as one expects the room to be silent when you need to get some sleep.
Breakfast was good with lots of variety. I was served coffee quite quickly. The room was clean and neat. I appreciated the reading lights above the bed as I had to study for exams. The location was the reason for booking this hotel as I had to write my Attorneys Admission exams at Emperors Palace.

United KingdomChose this hotel because it was in the Emperors Palace complex near to the airport after our flight was cancelled. We thought for the price it would be a treat and so much better and a little nicer than others advertised nearby which were far cheaper. It was way over priced at R3190 though. Room was small, dark, inadequate lighting, tired and worn out but clean. Small bathroom too. Our room was over the front entrance of the hotel. Avoid Room 124 ! The whole complex has piped radio music 24/7 on a loop. We could hear it really loud in our room ALL NIGHT as the speakers for the front entrance canopy were level with our room window. Complained at reception and it was turned down slightly but increased again in the middle of the night as it's centrally controlled in the complex. I love music but at 3am all we could hear was George Michael singing "Freedom" (ironic!). Didn't get any sleep. It just never stopped. You could even hear it in the bathroom, the corridor, the lift, the restaurant. It plays all through all the buildings at Emperors Palace, but because of the location of our room it was really loud. We did speak to the manager who was sympathetic and gave us a complimentary late check out which we were very grateful for, but I think it was beyond his control.
Good location, handy for JNB airport. Shuttle service good.
