Where to start… just loved everything. The huge beautiful very comfy rooms, the large beautifully constructed swimmingpool, the excellent, fresh prepared food. But above all: the very nice and friendly staff. We felt so at ease and at home! Definitely want to go back.

The swimming pool is situated near trees so there were quite a few mosquitos and other insects (wasps, bees) flying around there at certain times in the day, which was not ideal esp with little kids.

We had such a lovely time! The rooms (we were in the Artist apartment) were very spacious, but be aware that some of them require to climb some steep stairs. The staff was so helpful and amazing, especially with our two little ones (4yo and 10 months). Dinner and lunch at the restaurant was very good, and my 4 year old was delighted he was able to have a pasta dish made especially for him every time :-). The location is beautiful but remote, which was great for us but may not be for everyone.

There were no mattresses!! There were thin mattress toppers on the bed-springs! We woke up with a backache and it was very disappointing! There is only one toilets/ bathroom as they are together in the same room. So for 5 adults, there was some time of congestion. But we finally found some other restrooms near the reception desk which were perfect.

The place is very peaceful and splendid. We immediately felt relaxed and calm. We received The Marchese suite (on the 2nd and last floor)of 3 double rooms. There were no pictures on booking and we didn’t really know what to expect. In fact the suite was composed by 3 real large rooms, with splendid mosaic floors and high sealings. It was beautiful. The whole mansion is old but very nicely renovated. The staff is super nice and helpfull. We also had dinner and it was delicious. Light and tasty. The service was excellent. The chef did his best to prepare some vegetarian dishes especially for us. The children very much enjoyed the pool (a bit too cold but beautiful) and the billiard.

The garden is really nice and it is very peaceful to eat on the patio. Very kind staff and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and big with nive view on the immense garden.

Nothing really - but you need a car.

Very lovely and unusual hotel. Our room was enormous (the biggest we had during our travels). We booked in for an evening meal as the place is a little remote - very good meal with lovely wine. The bed was very comfortable. The views and surroundings were beautiful. Very romantic.

Everything was perfect, even the unexpected swimming pool at the bottom of the garden, wonderful.

I don’t normally right reviews BUT had to on this occasion. This hotel is situated in a beautiful location, so peaceful although quite remote if you don’t have a car (get a car, it’s worth it). The interior was also very elegant but understated, just right. Our hosts were relaxed and very friendly, made us feel at home and nothing was too much trouble. Whilst breakfast was great on the terrace in the sunshine, the dinner was amazing. I was going to go with the steak however the host tempted me with the beef cheek and said I wouldn’t regret it. How right he was, full of flavour and great texture, a memorable meal with my wife and good friends. Local wine was great too. Honestly, this was a fantastic hotel.

I guess my only complaint is I wish there was a fridge of some sort in the rooms, but we managed perfectly fine without it. Again, this is just reaching to find something wrong, the hotel was excellent regardless.

We loved Albert and Antonio’s hospitality. They were exceptional hosts. It was the perfect place to slow down and relax. We enjoyed the Gavi wine very much as well.

rooms are big and clean but pretty basic. no TV no AC

the place is stunning. A beautiful and historic property renewed while keeping the charm and uniqueness of it. the host was just lovely and helpful. the pool is a serene spot in the middle of nature, we couldn't get in because of the weather - but we hanged there. dinner is basically Michelin ;)

No bidet in our rooms. One bedroom had just ceiling light, so some sort of bedside lamp would be beneficial. Would be great to have glasses for water in the rooms. One of our bathrooms lacked liquid soap.

Great hospitality, super professional and friendly manager of the estate, it was a real pleasure to deal with him. Amazing food at the restaurant, thanks to chef Antonio. Big green territory with with rabbits and foxes, nice pool, spacious clean rooms.
