Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United Arab EmiratesThe staff are friendly enough although in the restaurant they keep pushing you to complete the satisfactory survey and this is totally annoying, you really need to ask many time for them not to stick it under your nose. Please leave your customer alone.
This is a resort, we liked it because it was quiet but if it was hight season I guess it would be totally different. Hotel is very clean and lots of pool facilites probably amazing for kids in hight season. Reception staff were really helpful and king and housekeeping also very sweet and always willing to help.

United KingdomAt check in the member of staff checking us in Hamza was incredibly rude and tried to give us a single bed room. I showed him the description of the booking is quite clearly of a double room and every picture has a double bed of some form. All he kept going on about was a king bed rather than listening that it didn't matter if it was a queen bed but we had not booked single beds for myself and my wife. The matter got resolved but the member of staff continued to argue and not listen. Maybe staff should be trained to use their ears and not their mouth at times. Breakfast was a buffet and was very bad. The hot food was very cold so this gave concern has to how long or fresh it was. We were asked about breakfast during check out and advised the above (much to the annoyance of the check out staff). Do not ask for feedback if you do not want to listen or take it on board. If I had paid for breakfast we would have asked for a refund. Bathroom is dated and needs a good clean lights are dirty in the bathroom and splattered with some black substance. Bath and shower is grimey. The extra latch lock at the top of the door leading to the hallway was snapped so could only rely upon the normal lock for shutting the door.
Location is good and private beach to dead sea. Most of the hotel is nice and clean. We ate in the Al la carte restaurant in the evening and had a good meal. Staff in the restaurant were friendly.

GermanyRoom was on the ground floor. So we did not open windows at night. Flies and mosquitoes would come in and room smelled grossly in the morning.
Own beach. Free mud mask offered all day long on the beach. Large rooms. Mohamad from the reception was really friendly and supportive.

United KingdomThe Hammam was broken, so we couldn't enjoy the Spa. There were no bottle of water in the rooms when we arrived, but the staff helped us to get some. The mountain view is not so nice as you see plastic and garbage from the window.
The private beach to access easily to the Dead Sea. The Swimming Pool, the showers just after the Dead Sea. You can also borrow some towels. The dinner and breakfast are very good. The rooms are spacious. The view is very beautiful. The staff is very helpful : my daughter hurt her foot and they helped her a lot.

United Arab EmiratesI think with all the space they could have more amenities. Table tennis, dart boards. The swimming pool was a bit chilly. It could have one of them heated. It was hard to get in it even though the temperature outside was quite hot at the beginning of April. To be fair, many of the pools we visited in other hotels were not heated also. Shame really, as this would put their hotel ahead of the rest!
Location right on the Dead Sea with buckets of mud!

RomaniaThe furniture is a bit outdated.
The room was big and cozy, we even got a free upgrade. All the amenities were very nice, many pools, the garden is well maintained. Breakfast was good, a high variety of both sweet and savory dishes.

United KingdomOur room was facing the pool - which meant that the music was so loud we couldn't sleep. We had to call reception multiple times as they didn't stop at 11pm as they should have. The balcony door didn't close very well so a strong smell of smoke welcomed us when we came back from dinner (probably from the balcony next door? We asked for a non smoking room!) Food at the breakfast buffet wasn't great. Towels in the room were small and very poor quality. Anything that is not included in half board is INCREDIBLY expensive, even non alcoholic drinks. In fact we had to pay 3.90 JOD for a bottle of water!
Perfect position by the sea and great beach. Beach Towels and water bottles provided by the hotel when on the beach. Comfy bed.

United KingdomThe buffet is large but an average food standard offering. The breakfast is the same. The steak we had in the 939 restaurant however, was excellent. Staff service a little 'hit and miss'
The location and outlook of the hotel is excellent. We had great fun floating in the dead sea and covering ourselves in mud to experience the skin smoothing benefits. The pool area is excellent. We had a great sea facing room with lovely large balcony.

ArgentinaAt night there was a terrible smell. Not sure what it was and if the hotel can do something about it, but after dusk it was impossible to be outside. Food choices could be a little bit improved, specially the breads and the desserts which were good, but were all more or less the same.
I really loved this hotel and the facilities. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It's a beautiful hotel with excellent views to the Dead Sea and the beach is very well equipped. Wifi was excellent.

NorwayWe were told the gym was accessible 24/7 but when we went there in the evening it was closed. Unfortunately, only one of three pools were open and my 12 year old was not allowed in the jacuzzi. Since this and the gym were the reasons we chose the hotel, and we weren't able to use it despite there hardly being any guests there, this became a huge disappointment. Also, there's nothing to do in the evening as there's nothing in the surrounding area.
Nice and clean room, friendly staff on the beach, beautiful property and good ala carte restaurant with the sweetest waitress. The breakfast tasted bland, but the staff were friendly and made an effort to serve.

Czech RepublicWe were coming in the low season, some of the pools were empty, yet it looked a bit abandoned. The infinity pool and the whirpool were a nice bonus. Definitely worth a visit, when you are planning a night or two in this area.
Breakfast, dinner, the hotel facilities were great. Beds were comfortable, bathroom clean. Nothing to complain about. The mud buckets were available on the beach, all absolutely perfect.
