Bungalows could have better water pressure :/

The most peaceful and beautful place i've been in a while. The bungalows are set under the shade of the fern trees, just a few meters from a beach that continues for seveeral miles in both directions. The owners are wonderful people and made us feel very welcomed here. The natural energy here is healing :)

Location is beautiful Cottages are in the shade of a wonderful garden next to the beach. Staff is very friendly and ready to support all requests. Food is delicious. Beds are confortable and rooms are very clean. Suggested for relaxing in a very unique atmosphere. No wifi available No air conditioning but in the room there is a fan and it was fine.

The only thing i miss is a small fridge to keep the water bottles cold, but that is no big deal.

This was my fourth time here and I love it very much! The best place to stay if you visit Koh kho khao. Very friendly staff and great food (you pay a little bit more but it is worth it)! Such a cosy and relaxing place.

The only thing I would change is to stay longer next time.

The location is perfect, with km of beautiful beach in each direction. The bungalows are considerately designed, and surrounded by carefully tended gardens. The staff are all amazing, attentive, smiling all the time; they seem to love being at Hapla as much as the guests do.

The food was a bit pricey but I think that makes sense given that the rooms are quite cheap. I trust they’re doing what makes sense for them business wise. Oh, but the coffee really could be much better.

I loved the simplicity of the cottages, the amazingly kept grounds, the big trees, the entrance, the tasty food, the amazingly attentive staff and owners, the proximity to Phuket and the airport without having the feel of the big resorts AT ALL. I liked the ferry ride and the boats. I just loved this place so much.

Hmmm, maybe a little pricey in the restaurant Lots of mosquitoes in the evening ( depending on weather and season) They burn Gras in the evening to keep them away so no biggie.

They should have a bloom stick for us to be able to clean the sand out after beach

The tranquility and garden are superb! I’ve been here before and I came once again. The beach and the restaurant are also good. This is not the most clearest water beach I have ever seen but it’s kinda untouched feeling. Natural and minimal.

The loud chirping of the crickets throughout the night robbed me of sleep. but the operators can't do anything about it

We didn't know that the ' island ' is very quiet but it turned out to be really good.

Hapla Beach Cottage exceeded our expectations in terms of being peaceful, quiet and comfortable. We felt at home and enjoyed the remote location. The food is very good & so are the drinks / fresh juices. The staff are friendly and attentive. We could happily return :)

We were sorry to find out that the prices in the restaurant were double to averadge prices anywhere else. And the portions are on the small side.

It is a beautiful place. It's quiet, romantic, clean, relaxing... If your dream is to have a beach just to yourself it won't be a problem here. Kids: I was worried our small children would get bored as there is no pool, no playground. But there are crabs (so many!), beach toys, hammocks... our kids were perfectly happy here.

The food is by far the best on the Island but a little pricy. Would be nice with a discount (maybe 30%) for us that stay at Hapla. many other come here to eat since the food is so good.

superb facilities and location. the bungalows are very fresh with fan and clean. nice comfortable beds (not to hard). Everything is right on the beach with trees and hammocks (hang mats) everywhere. Such a lovely place. the beach is endless and almost no one there. One of few places still like this in Thailand. The best food on the Island and among the best we have had in Thailand.

The only minor criticism if you can call it that is the rooms do not have AC which was fine in the most part, but if it became any hotter or the wind dropped I struggled with the heat however in the early hours the breeze from the sea cooled the room down nicely. Beds are similar to many Thai hotel beds which is very very hard.

Everything to like about this property. It's clean it's not expensive, it is away from the crowds, the beach is beautiful, it is almost like having 10km of private beach. This is like holidaying in the Maldives but for a fraction of the price. Don't forget the ferry stops at 6.30pm to get you on the island. Staff are very nice albeit my ignorance of the Thai language was a bit of a barrier but they helped me muddle through any order 👌. There are few comments regarding the food being expensive. Yes compared to street food it is I suppose. Compared to European/US prices it is very very well priced and please don't leave home if you are going to moan about paying £6-10 for a meal 😂.

Koh Kho Khao island has only basic services available and no nightlife whatsoever.
