Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyThe building is a bit old, and it does not present itself in the best way; but you don't judge a book from its cover!
The location is awesomely central, basically a walking-length from everything in downtown Amman; the breakfast is abundant, and the guy who manages it very kind and friendly. The room we had was well equipped, with private bathroom and ac, windows on a private court which was very helpful because the street the hotel was on it was a bit crowded with cars.

ItalyIt is a bit rundown, but likely because it’s old.

United StatesThe place needs extensive renovation. Don't get it unless you are paying $20 for a double OR LESS including breakfast. There are better options for a bit more.I went in winters so I can't say about AC. The hotel that looks like Petra in pictures and is near is better value for money and even closer to shipping. If you can ignore that the place is in shambles and can do with a permanently broken elevator and only one flight of steps (29-25) then then it's still worth a stay just because of Alladins caring attitude. If you need the cheapest place to spend a night or two then this might be it. There is street parking available 90 percent of the time.
The place is at walking distance from a very busy and very beautiful market with shopping for gifts, clothes , accessories and amazing food . The manager Aladin is a sweet friendly and amazing person. If he was not there with us smile and amazing attitude then this place would not be worth it at all .His recommendations if food are honest and good. Breakfast is basic but fresh.

India1. No lift, the hotel is in the 2nd floor. 2. Dirty, its old & dirty, the blanket was full of dirt. 3. The room is small. 4. No exhasut fan in toilet & its door is feeble like a curtain. 5. Parking is away from the hotel on open road. 6. Breakfast is below average. 7. Receptionist was a old guy, was a bit rude as he was doing Ramadan fasting.
The location is great 1.5km from all major attractions i.e. Citadel, Roman Theatre & Rainbow street.

United KingdomFrom the moment I arrived, Al Adeen made me feel so welcome and looked after, nothing was too much trouble. I really enjoyed my stay with them and recommend this place to budget travellers, but remember you can’t expect too much for the price in terms of facilities. But my stay included a very tasty and generous breakfast each morning too, so I was overall very impressed!

Italythe entrance at the building, the walls and the stairs would need a profound cleaning process. Cats can access one of the windows and leave their excrement there
the location is just perfect, five minutes walk from the vibrant heart of Amman. the room was the perfect size for two persons with big luggage and very clean. The beds were really comfortable. Bit noisy as the room faces the bridge and the road in front of the windows. Breakfast really good

United KingdomI was in a room that was due to be renovated I think. It wasn’t bad or unclean, just needed a fresh lick of paint.
The location was great in central downtown Amman. Very close to Roman Ampitheatre, Citadel and Rainbow Street. Aladdin was also a very helpful and gracious host, and even shared a cola can with me. It was clean and mostly comfortable and did everything I needed as I was not there for much of the time whilst on trips etc. For the hotel rate it was a good stay.
