“Mr Tanaka was exceptionally friendly and made our stay quite enjoyable. Its good value for money, but of course isn't as fancy as a more expensive hotel or guest house would be. The location to a nice beach was very good although its a steep walk up and down a hill or steps, overall good location though. If you are nice Mr Tanaka will be happy to help out where he can as well, ie getting a lift into town and possibly borowing is body board”
“Good location near the ohama beach in Kisami and near a 24/7 FamilyMart, a bus stop to Shimoda and Minato but still very quiet and rural. The Ryugu Sea Cave and a Sand Ski Resort are in a walkable distance. Contains a big bathing area, and a washing mashine. Friendly and helpful housekeepers. Pretty affordable too.”
“Very nice Hostel near Tatado beach, which is excellent for surfing. My room was bigger than most hotel rooms on my journey and had a comfortable double bed, table and a large cupboard.
The place is a little outside of Shimoda but a bus stops nearby and takes you to the center in 10 min.
