    “This luxurious Ryokan was the perfect getaway from busy Tokyo and an excellent spa-retreat after a long hike in one. The staff spoke good English and was very helpful. We would highly recommend booking a private dinner in your room for at least one night where you'll get overwhelmed by the enormous diversity of the Japanese cuisine. We booked a private Onsen for 1 hour where we could catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji, but the public Onsen and rooftop footbath are already well worth this Ryokan experience.”

    “Togawaso was a new experience - staying in a Ryokan with futons as beds. It is one the lake with a beautiful park 2 minutes away. Property is very clean and toilets are clean and neat Common bathing area was ok as mostly it is deserted - but warm pool inside it was great and relaxing. Breakfast (western) was good.”
