“We caught a ferry across from Kanoya to Ibusuki on a road trip from Miyazaki down and around to Kagoshima.. Like most people, to try the sand onsens. This place was a short drive away from the sand onsen and could easily be done by bus, taxi or bicycle. Hotels in Ibusuki are a little more expensive than other places in Japan. Out of the options available I thought this was the best value. Although not a short walk from the sand onsen like some other places. This hotel has a nice onsen next door included in the price, which isn't in the same building. But there is a covered short walk to next door to the onsen place that has lots of different separate onsens to try. There are also dinner options right next door that are a fair price and we had breakfast included. So everthing was covered. The room was a good size, we didn't use the bathroom because we had an onsen in the afternoon, evening and next morning. I'd stay here again if I visited Ibusuki again.”
“The seaview is good. The room is spacious and clean. The staff is polite and helpful when laying out the futon. The black sand bath is an interesting experience. The dinner and breakfast are yummy!”
“This family ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) has a wonderfully warm and welcoming atmosphere. We arrived around 7 p.m. and had reserved dinner. The food was delicious. You eat traditionally (seated on cushions on the floor in a communal dining area) and the other guests were great company. We made many friends that night. The ryokan also offers two private onsen baths. If they are open, you can take a reservation sign and put it on the door to show that you are using it. The facilities were clean, the rooms were large and we could not have asked for a better stay. We did not have breakfast (none of us is breakfast people) but we have no doubt that it was as delicious as dinner! Definitely try the black pork that the area is known for!”
“Very convenient location. Its near big drugstore. Even u arrived late to ibusiki , for example 8pm, you can grab something to eat here.
They also got 3 bikes. It’s very handy to travel and discover other points of attraction by bike. Remember to pick the one with light”
“Not one thing I can complain about. The house is beautiful and situated closely to the train station. There is also an Onsen nearby which was really convenient. The manager Yuko was very friendly and has a lot of knowledge about the area. There are drinks and snacks in the kitchen which can be purchased for little money and save you the trip to the Konbini.”
“Walking distance to the station. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, good-sized lockers, comfortable dining areas, kitchen had everything, the WiFi was great, the owner speaks good English, the dryer was powerful.. Long story short, I loved everything about it.”

I couldn’t find the tea bags, and the host helped me quickly and even brought some cake :)
There is a toilet on the second floor which is very convenient considering that the stairs is very steep. The TV is also quite big.”
“Very comfortable place with an awesome host in a quiet area. A free bicycle made everything in Ibusuki close and the host gave me a ride when I needed one. The stay made me feel at home and would be spacious enough for a full house. I extended my stay 2 times and keep this place in mind as one of the most heartwarming.
