“The staff was very helpful and with excellent English. I had a room in traditional Japanese style, it was huge and comfortable (unless you don't like sleeping on futon). I couldn't go to onsen , but it seemed really nice. And they have really good cosmetics in the bathroom.”
“We stayed at this hotel as a base to ski at Onikoube for Powderhounds.com. We were hoping that Naruko Onsen would be a cute little onsen town, and whilst this hotel and a few other hotels were aesthetically nice, the village itself looked really tired and run down.
The room had plenty of space and it was nice that it had an ensuite bathroom.
The main 6th floor onsen was the better looking onsen and we thought we were accustomed to hot onsen, but this one was particularly hot. There was a small outdoor onsen with fake bamboo screening. The indoor onsen was nicer, with its views across the town & mountains.”
