“Fantastic family owned house (but the whole house is yours, they don’t live there), we loved everything about it. Especially Fuji view!! Oshino Hakkai is a very cute little town and this house is in the middle of it, next to one of the sacred ponds (with Fuji mirror). The house is spotless clean and so spacious and traditional and just perfect. We are a family of 4 with 2 young adult kids, they both had their own bedroom with futon beds upstairs and we slept downstairs in the 2 beds. The owners are very willing to help you with everything you need, including pick up from and drop off at the train station. There is a Lawson supermarket at 6 minutes walk (a nice walk!). We felt so much at home and the family owners are the best hosts.”
