“This is a family owned ryokan and the hosts lady was super nice. She met us at a train station since she knew our train arrival time. That was a nice surprise. The ryokan itself is quite close to the station a couple of minutes walk away from the main town street. Tsuwano is a nice little town and you could easily spend a half or full day there. We had a half board arrangement and it was a blast - full set Japanese dinner with a sake tasting and equally complete Japanese breakfast. Tremendous value and reception! Highly recommend!”
