Nothing. The best hotel in our whole stay in Japan.

Amazing hotel to all regards. Located at the heart of Kanazawa in the Katamachi (Samourai) district, close to main avenue, area full of restaurants and at walking distance to castle, castle park, contemporary museum, and other areas of interest. Superb room design, large rooms and very pleasant bathrooms, toilets separated from shower (rare in Japan). Breakfast by far the best we had in Japan. Absolutely amazing to all regards, with spectacular attention to details. Nice and relaxing public bath. Impeccable room cleanliness. Bravo!

Has a hotel I think the laundry could be free. Also, the Onsen is very small and the Hotel is big, so it will be crowded if you go after 6-7pm after dinner.

24h reception, good size of the room and they leave you fresh towels at the door everyday. The room was in the eleven floor, I like to have a view and the window in the room was quite big.

Staff at the frontdesk could've told me that luggage delivery to a different prefecture will be delayed by 1 day, I thought it was same day delivery that's why I messaged in advance. But when I needed to transfer all our luggage upon check-out to Nagoya, they told me that I will only get them day after tomorrow. This information could've been given to me during my message to them weeks in advance. I also had my pocket wifi delivered to the hotel. They couldn't understand us when we asked for it at the front desk. It would help if the staff learned a bit more conversational English to also bridge the language barrier and since they will only get more foreign visitors moving forward.

The hotel is near an intersection where all the convenience stores are located across each other - 7/11, lawsons and family mart. You're spoiled rotten with the choices of convenience stores plus there's also a lawsons almost beside the hotel. There's a bus stop at the intersection and also across the hotel (but we always used the one at the intersection). The area near the intersection while a bit lively in the evening, becomes really quiet pass 11pm. Kanazawa buses also stop past 10pm that's why you'd have to take a cab from the train station if you ever stay out late from all the sightseeing. You can also walk to Kenroku-en and even Kanazawa Castle. From Konroku-en, it's also a 14min walk to Higashi Chaya District.

Location is some distance away from Kanazawa station, but the closest bus stop is only approx 400m away. Fabric based flooring material in the bathroom area, was stained with yellow patches.

Spacious room with a large bed. Good amenities, gym with cardio machines and a weight machine. Hot public bathing space.

Curtains were completely see through for sunlight, so you really need a sleeping mask.

We loved the room with big windows. Staff were helpful and room was perfect. My hair flatiron broke before my arrival and you can rent one for free during your stay ! Such a nice touch. Also pretty quiet rooms. Also near old samouraï street.

Laundry is a bit more expensive than a landromat (~600 yen to wash and dry) but apart from that it was a really great and comfortable stay!

    - Great view of the city from the room - Comfortable bed - Spotless room and bathroom - Bathroom was modern and nice to use - Good WiFi - 30 minute walk from the station - Very short walk to lots of restaurants and bars - Very short walk to the Samurai District - Lovely onsen - Convenient baggage check

    Nothing in particular, all great

Excellent value for money. Very fresh rooms with super comfy beds. We lived on 11th floor, so the city view was amazing, too, especially at night. Close to all the main locations of our interest. I didn't use the public baths but I did visit the spa therapist for a full body Japanese massage. An outstandingly relaxing experience! Even got a bag of herbal tea as a gift. Lovely

May need more washing machines or suggestion to another laundromat. Had to wait it out between different tour groups.

Spacious and easy access to transport. Very near to Samurai district and a couple of bus stops from Omicho Market. Lots of food near by.
