Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Spacious rooms compared to standard Japanese hotels. Loved having a couch next to the tv. Big, delicious breakfast every morning. Gareth and Rika, the owners, couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating. Was thankful for the shuttle up to the lifts every morning, even though it’s a short walk.

Rika and Gareth made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was outstanding and provided us with the fuel to hit the slopes during the day. The Accomodation is modern and roomy by Japanese standards. The location is a short walk to the Kitanomine gondola (we are snowboarders and prefer to walk as part of our warm-up). Alternatively, you can catch a lift if you want! Rika is Furano born and speaks excellent English. She and her husband were also happy to teach us some Japanese and share/explain local customs.

SingaporeThe house was simple but well-designed, with modern and comfortable rooms. We found the tatami room very comfortable too. In the evenings we enjoyed drinks at their homely dining room. The hosts, Rika and Gareth, were extremely warm and friendly. It was like staying with friends. They served us two very delicious Japanese breakfasts when we requested for them.

The place is new and clean. The room is also very big for 4 persons stay. The owner is very friendly and they do provide bicycle renting which I didn't get to experience it this time.

Rika was incredibly hospitable, she recommended restaurants and places around that we could visit and even provided us with an area map. The rooms were well furnished with quality materials and there was ample space to move around. The breakfast was cooked by Rika using locally sourced ingredients. They were beautifully platted and was very delicious. The location is near a lawson convenience store, makes it easy to get necessities. Would stay here if I am back in Furano again. If you happen to visit during the right season, it will be very beautiful as the place is surrounded by sunflowers.

This apartment is so new and clean, the room is spacious and very comfortable! You need to take off your shoes before you go inside hotel! There is sunflower surrounding the hotel which is amazing! The breakfast is highlight! They may ask when will you Wake Up tomorrow and prepare the Breakfast for you. The staff cook when you are ready but not prepare in advance which is appreciated! I may choose the hotel again when I come back to furano definitely! And the location is the centre of furano which is very convenient.

JapanThere was nothing I didn't like, just 2 little things you should be aware of when staying at Air Furano: 1. The stairs to 2F are quite steep with short areas to step on. 2. Bring your own jinbei (甚平), there is none provided by the hotel.
Forget all the 4-star or 5-star hotels, when it comes to hospitality, attention to details and exceptional service, Air Furano is in the top league. It starts with the welcome, which is not only a drink, but a pleasant talk with Rika, who runs the facility. And she helps you with everything, whether it's tips on events in the area, hints to places to explore, or shopping tips. If you are into cycling, her husband will help you organizing that. All in all exceptional, including the self-made breakfast! I definitely want to come again!

AustraliaWe were woken up by the sound of the snow clearing at 4.30am! Gareth had a talk with the workers and this shouldn’t happen again.
Rika and Gareth looked after our group well and made our stay most enjoyable. One member of our group had a health issue and they supported us as we worked together to make it better for everyone. The breakfast was great - Rika is a wonderful cook - although we did only have it for two days of the seven days of our stay. Gareth was instrumental in helping make local restaurant bookings and maxi taxi rides as required and this worked really well for our group. Would definitely recommend this accommodation and would also stay in future, if we can find a vacancy!!
