The wifi in the rooms didn’t work even after multiple resets. It was also a shame that the restaurant and bar area was closed.

Rooms were spacious and clean, staff were brilliant and very helpful. the breakfast was also great.

I was given a connecting room and the walls were thin. I could hear my neighbour.

Nice little hotel that's well designed. Feels homely and the room is spacious. I was very excited when I first arrived. I liked that I could see snow outside my window. Beds were comfy and the temperature of the room was well controlled. Breakfast was not too bad either, considering I stayed for five days, I ate well.

During winter, the shuttle always fulled or behind timetable due to weather. So after wait for one hour (since 3pm around end of Dec at grand hirafu Gondola), I have decided to walk 2km back to hotel in heavy snow day. Restaurant no open at night. The room i stay, yotei room for 4 pax, if not mistaken, 402 had noise due to the strong wind passing through the corridor outside and the door is a bit loose still after close and locked.

Great stay. Restaurant in hotel offer great lunch. Good hospitality. The male japanese receptionist helped a lot in looking for a taxi. Although cant get a taxi at last, appreciated it a lot. The hotel provide free shuttle. Beds, room, staff all were great.

the property is a little out of town but still walkable (without ski gear) in around 15 mins from centre of Hirafu. In the morning the hotel shuttle buses were provided on request to the gondola. However they never picked up front the gondola even at the end of the day when most kids and adults lessons finish at 1530 at the gondola which is also inconveniently the same time the gondola stops, so you get stranded for up to an hour at the gondola location until the very crowded public bus arrives. not very helpful. Also the shuttle bus stops at 2130, not great when the only restaurant table availability is at 2030…

the bedrooms were well designed and had a lot of storage. hotel staff were kind and helpful.

walls were very thin, we could here the people in the room next door talking. wall heater didn’t work in our room, asked for a small crib, would have been nice to get one.

good breakfast, storage for skis, shuttles on time, proximity to resort and dining.

Great location, comfortable room, good breakfast, underwhelming service by reception

The service level of the reception staff and housekeeping is extremely underwhelming. The room was not made up throughout the entire 5-day stay. Reception staff were often unable to offer alternative solutions to issues encountered by guests such as travel options. The worst was when we asked one staff to book a taxi and he simply forgotten about it and gave the excuse that it was impossible to get through the taxi company over the phone. The staff did not even try!

The room is comfortable and the location is great. I like the fact that the staff made amenities freely available when they realised that housekeeping could not cope during this season. Breakfast was also really good. Well done! The breakfast crew and free shuttle crew were fantastic and friendly.

    • Yotei Suite

Nothing in particular except suit doesn’t have a intercom or telephone to reach the reception or staff in case you need any help.

The Yotei suit was amazing and it was large enough for a 3 people group or family. nice view of mount Yotei though the large windows on clear days and you have a large space for relax and have a really good time while your stay. breakfast was also good and the staff is english speaking and some of them are originally English. it’s a ski-in/ski-out kind a resort since Niseko Grand Hirafu is just 5 minutes drive away. all other Niseko united ski resorts are easily accessible from this hotel. they have a ski gear rental on the ground floor which we didn’t use this time but anyone wish to rent stuff can arrange from here. if you book this Yotei suit you can have a free private parking in front of the hotel otherwise you have to pay a little fee.

The reserved parking lot was not properly organized. Specifically, there was a guest who did not stop at the designated place because the instructions to the guest were not perfect.

Breakfast was decent and all of my friends liked it. The hotel initially looks like the hostel however the room we stayed was fabulous that they betrayed our expectation in a good way.

Nice stay here. I would recommend.
    • Leisure trip
    • Solo traveller
    • Deluxe Niseko Room
    • Stayed 4 nights

It's a bit on the edge of town. So, unless you get a shuttle ride, a 15 minute walk is required to get basic necessities. It seems like all accommodation in Niseko is expensive. This hotel is a bit pricey by Japan standards, but not for Niseko. The room quality makes up for the extra expense.

Newer hotel. Room was spacious and clean. Staff is excellent, friendly. For the time I was there (during covid) not many guests so it was very quiet.

Great value for money (at least for Niseko), good property with nice services.
    • Leisure trip
    • Family with young children

While room is big, it does not have a desk (unfortunately I always have some work to do on vacation, and this was a problem as the property does not have a business room or a lounge where you can sit with you computer). Restaurant is only for breakfast and sometime open for lunch, so you need to go outside for your meals. Shuttle operates only in morning and early afternoon, with a break at lunch time and last shuttle at 16h00, this means that you need to either walk (around 15 minutes) or take pubblic bus (stop is at around 200-300 mt) or a taxi to go to Grand Hirafu: not a huge problem (we like to walk for istance) but it could be annoying if you coming back from ski area with your equipment and you miss the last shuttle.

Very well maintained property (it has somehow 10 years but it looks brand new). Room (we had Yotei suite) was big for 4 people and with nice view of Mount Yotei. Good western and Japanese breakfast, and convenient shuttle from Hotel to Grand Hirafu. Staff has been very helpful and always tried to fulfill our requests. Highly recommended and will come back again.

No shared bathing facility (Onsen) - which I sort of consider a must for any winter sport location. A few more places to hang and dry ski wear in the room would have helped. 10-minute walk to Hirafu center, which we didn’t mind but some people would find a bit annoying. Also, Shuttle only covers the Welcome Center Hirafu resort entrance, not the Grand Hirafu entrance with the gondola. We went over New Years so the price was very steep. Normally better value for money 😉

Modern, clean-cut hotel with incredibly helpful & friendly staff. Bathroom was modern and clean. And the shampoo and shower gel smelled amazing. Shuttle service to one of Hirafu‘s resort entrances ‚Welcome Center‘ (Unfortunately- but understandably - the hotel shuttle did not cover the night skiing times but they offered to pick us up if we gave prior notice, which speaks again to the amazing staff).

Since the hotel's restaurant is not available at night, finding place for dinner during winter is difficult.

Location : If you don't have a car, it's quite a walk to the nearest village to eat. Or you can use the bus provided by the hotel which is frequent enough.

Room size : Comfy room with good heating system. Strong hot shower. Japanese bidet type toilet. Breakfast : Good variety of food. Parking : Free parking onsite. Staff : Friendly and informative western staff, so there are no language barrier. View from the room : View from Mt. Yotei from the window(if the weather permit) was very nice.

Music was alittle loud and could have been toned down as there was alot of RAPP playing i felt you could have had something alot softer after all its breakfast and people want to eat in peace! hopefully you will change the music to make things work. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a great selection of foods, which offered a diverse selection of foods for its international guests, eg western continental and asian. Toast was great and you could order a selection of coffees and tea, staff were excellent always friendly and helpful overall a very pleasant atmosphere.
