The view is amazing. It was relaxing having the view with the private hot spring. The room was as described. The staff was very friendly. The food was delicious.

Thank you, it is the best hotel I have ever stayed in Japan, it is not the most expensive but it is the best, the service attitude, the room is very beautiful, dinner and dinner are very delicious, it is wonderful, I will stay again next time when I go to Dingshan River, the room has hot springs, you can look at the snow mountain hot springs.

The room was splendid with a beautiful view of the snowy forest. They catered to my dietary needs and also prepared lunch for me on my second day. I stayed for 2 nights just relaxing and enjoying the private onsen and delicious foods. They also provide a shuttle bus from Sapporo station. The staff were always been helpful and friendly.

Absolute peace and tranquility. Our room was so comfortable and had such a lovely private view to the trees outside. The private onsen was simply amazing and so good! I loved wearing the yukatas. Very comfortable.

It is hard to reach with driving a car, and taking a taxi from the nearest town will be required Better to call and book in japan than to book thru online website (100-200 dollars more expensive)

It would have been nicer if we were had larger windows in the room for letting in the Country fresh air during the day. The en suite onsen would have been fantastic if we were able to open glass pane.

Room is well planned, tastefully furnished and very comfortable. The Harmon speaker was a real bonus .Breakfast and dinner presentation was a feast for the eye and quality of ingredients and cooking techniques par excellence.

The hotel is way better than our expectation. Staff; Mr. Ou is the best. He helped us during the check in, dinner and check out. He also gave us the ticket to the Jozankei Nature Luminarie only when we mentioned that we planed to go there. The Italian dinner is great and the breakfast was also very delicious. We got the room that facing the forest and a onsen bath. The size of the onsen bath is quite large. Totally recommended.

I love everything about Kasho Goen. They exceed my expectations in every way.

The staff, especially O san. He is beyond excellence. The primeval forests right in front of our room, the onsen's superb healing quality to my skin and senses, the 5 courses dinner and the breakfast which handpicked the best in seasonal vegetables and local produce. The music played at the corridor, the superb quality speaker in our room.

The hotel is located a bit further away from the city Jozankei, but they provide shuttle to the city upon request

Everything was excellent from check - in to check - out. Hana and Eka were very helpful during our stay. The room was amazing with excellent view and private onsen. The meals are delicious and they were able to accommodate special dietary needs (pre confirmation needed)

We travelled to japan more than 20 times, what we like is the food , the culture and japanese is very polite and friendly. But this is first time we meet a very rude japanese in this hotel....and she was racist....she is the manager of the restaurant. We book 2 nights full board including breakfast and dinner...suprisingly the serve italian food for dinner, and its taste awful. The second night we have dinner outside. Location also far from centre....there are many good onsen ryokan hotel in the centre.
