15 minutes walk to Hakata & Tenjin area, nearby have local supermarket and next to the hotel have a nice Ramen stall 雷藏 and their fry rice is very too. The room came with free coffee staffs is friendly.

We had two rooms, the standard room is smaller, with no wardrobes. They provide yukata, just make sure to open the drawers. You need to use the system provided for self check-in, so unless you frequent APA hotels, you will need to take quite some time to get familiar with it. So other guests will have to wait with patience.

Location was good, accessible to subway station, has a 24hrs supermarket next door.

Not a big problem, but check-in is made through a self-service machine not that easy to use for a foreigner, which may finally require assistance from the front desk staff.

Classical APA hotel well located in an area with many restaurants, yatai (street restaurants) and shops. Perfect base to explore the different areas of Fukuoka: walking distance from Canal City, Nakasu and Tenjin, bus and train connections to temples, the bay and the beaches, 10-min ride to the airport... Helpful and courteous staff, as always in Japan. Clean and comfortable rooms, very good breakfast buffet with Japanese and western options, self-service laundry machines... A good choice for short and less short stays.

Check-in took a very long time even tough they had a machine for that. The rooms are a little run down , aircon is quite loud and either super strong or turned off, pillows are really bad (usually i don't complain about things like that, but in 4 nights me and my partner could never sleep well)

This hotel was truly a terrible experience!! I would not recommend this to anyone. I moved to another hotel for half the price after this and the room and staff were 100% better. The staff at this APA hotel insisted that I pay an additional 1,000 yen to check in 10 minutes early to the check-in time which was 5pm. They placed me into a room on the third floor in front of the elevators and a loud crowd just outside the thin window. The room windows are as thin as paper. You can hear everything outside. After realizing I could not sleep, I gave them a call at 2am to complain about the amount of noise coming from the hotel elevator just outside my door and the outside noise. The staff insisted she check the noise level in my room at 2am to determine whether it was worth moving me. I asked for a refund for the first night and not only were they rude to handle the situation but they also did not refund me. There are many hotels in this area, and this is one hotel I will not be coming back to.

Clean, neat, & organized. Everything was in Japanese & in English language as well. The hotel is very well located. It has bus stops & train stations less than a 5-minute walk distance.

Wonderful friendly staff. It was nice that most of the guests were Japanese. We loved the breakfast and chose to have a Japanese breakfast, which set us up for the day, but everything was offered. We felt at home in the hotel. The location was perfect. We could walk or bus from Hakata station. The beds were comfortable and we slept well with memory pillows. The first night we had a delicious meal at a local restaurant which we found around the corner. The mamasan used Google translate to tell us about the menu. There was a fish market across the road. We were in walking distance along the canal to Canal City. We were able to make expresso coffee on the coffee machine in our room. Our twin room was a decent size. There was a supermarket, fruit stalls and a Chemist around the corner. We had a nice view from our room. I would recommend this hotel.
