Room was smaller than expected

Modern and clean, mini fridge and close to train station. very walkable to major attractions. Bathroom supplies where very good and handing space worked for us. Comfortable bed and window opened for natural ventilation.

Stayed at the Umeda APA which has an elevated bed so you store your luggage, but at Hiroshima was a standard bed base, was hard to store luggage with a small room. Bed wasn’t very comfortable, I like a firmer bed. This bed had a lot of dip points in it.

The size of the rooms is tiny. Couldn't fit our portacot anywhere. You'd need to book two rooms if travelling with a baby.

Very clean hotel. The best thing was the wonderful onsen on the 2nd floor. The location was walking distance to a well connected station.

Reception very busy. Long wait to check in. Small room. Hardly any room to walk round in.. Bed against window. Had to climb bed to close curtains. Hotel very busy the Sunday morning. Had to wait ages for lift as they were always full. Difficult to get to restaurant because of this. Then difficult to get lift to Reception to go out for the day. Took so long, missed train. ~Monday morning was much quieter. If I stayed here again would request a room on lower floor.

Location. Clean room, well equipped. Good breakfast - staff work very hard and always smiling.

Room was very small but typical of a Japanese business hotel. We had 2 large check-in luggage and did not have space to open them fully; only our carry-on cases could be opened under the table. Men's onsen was very crowded even near midnight, possibly due to main customer base of businessmen.

Convenient location about 5mins walk from the JR Hiroshima station, easy access to buses/trams/trains. Convenience store in the ground floor with the usual onigiri/sandwiches/etc so we did not get the hotel breakfast. Public onsen was large, nicely decorated and open till late. Check-in and luggage storage is done electronically, which can be quite confusing but appears to be becoming more common in similar business hotel chains, and the staff were very helpful in navigating the system. Check-out is very quick, just need to drop off the key card and all set. Bed was comfortable but only accessible from one side. Very good for a stopover but would not stay for several days, especially with large luggage.

Staff spoke very little English

The onsen and the location was great. I would recommended a twin room and putting the beds when travelling with small kids.

The rooms are very small, but we knew this and the space is used well. It is still really quite tight for two people. I would have liked some colder water next to the women’s bath.

The service was very good, we had help with storing our bike bags and there was always someone on hand to help us even though the hotel is big and busy. The bath was nice and I appreciated the TV screen system showing how crowded it was that helped me pick a quiet time to go.

The public transport stops were a bit of a distance.

The convenience store and restaurant on the ground floor was a great feature. The combination washer/dryer was great although the dryer function was a bit confusing - despite extra spins it was still damp.

The room was very small. We could open our suitcase only on the bed. There aren't enough lifts (and washing machines) for such a big hotel.

The hotel is very close to the train station. Staff is friendly and professional. We liked the option to store our luggage before check in and after check out. We loved the onsen facilities. The room was very small, but had everything from kettle to yukata...

As with most APA hotels, the rooms were very small, with barely enough room for two people and two luggages.

Many amenities, including shower, toilet, washing machines and even a public spa. About a 10 minute walk from the Hiroshima station. There is an okonomiyaki restaurant for lunch and dinner and a Lawson on the first floor of the hotel.

The lifts. Specially in the morning. We were in the 12th floor and we would have to let 2-3 lifts go each morning due to being full.
