APA is a well-known hotel chain. Everything is good, but for this money you might find something more interesting. Though the hotel is clean, well-equipped. The rooms is very tiny but comfortable.

Breakfast was ridiculously expensive so I didn't choose that option, you are better off going and getting a "Morning Set" at one of the local coffee shops for 1/4 of the price.

I was pleasantly surprised by my first stay at an APA hotel, I've always avoided them in my trips to Japan but this time it was convenient and the right price. I enjoyed the stay, actually. The rooms are very compact (which is why I have avoided in the past), but actually they are very well designed and also very comfortable, and so I didn't mind it just for the one night at all. And the bonus of this particular APA hotel having an Onsen bath area made me very happy. And of course, the location is excellent, right on the edge of Kabukicho.

Although we were already expecting a small room, we got a little surprised with the fact that it is indeed very small. It doesn’t have gym.

Bathroom was quite small

In the heart of kabukicho.. very convenient with foods and dally necessity. Room was enough as a solo traveller. Very clean. Give a yukata which is a nice touch. Theres lots of vod for free.

Room was small but it was what I expected,can get busy at check-in times,near red light district but never a problem.

Room too small

Apa is a standard hotel chain in Japan with many locations. Standard room, automated check in. Comfortable but very small room, very tight to stay with luggages if for long period of time. On our second visit, we stayed at Fresa and we found it more spacious. Location is great for the night, easy access to Golden gai, a lot of places to eat, shinjuku. A bit off Shinjuku main station (15-18 min walk) so not so comfortable for carrying luggage esp if a lot of travel.

There weren't many laundry facilities to service the amount of the guests. Long wait times. Check in was all automated so no friendly reception by staff on arrival

Location was easy to get to. Clean and tidy. Ability to leave bags before and after check in/out.

The rooms aren’t very big, so we didn’t have a lot of space for our luggage. But we made it work.

The nice location, the onsen and generally the hotel. Sweet staff.

Just a bit of a walk from the metros.

Easy enough to get to, they held my luggage for free when I departed, good location. Friendly staff. Not amazing but very good value.

The laundry room needs to have more washer and dryer. For the size of the hotel, 3 washers and 3 dryers are not enough. The dryers take hours to dry clothes.

The daily supply of clean towels and robes was very nice.

Super convenient location to Shinjuku city and Shinjuku station, only about a 5 min walk from the night life and 10 min walk to Shinjuku station. Public bath was clean. The room was expected size for an APA hotel.

You are not allowed to use the hotel´s onsen if you have tattoos. I didn´t expect that rule to be applied to such a touristic hotel.

Easy to get by bus. It has a Family Mart and and 7/11 across the street where you can easily have breakfast. The room was comfortable and staff was very friendly.

The room was very small. Very little space for a couple to move in. Location is good in terms of proximity to main areas but you have to cross a red light area to get there. Keep giving us more and more amenities without checking if we need them. So lots kept piling up.

Clean. Organised check in and quick check out. Breakfast was nice. Close to Shinjuku.

Nothing everything was perfect.

Great location, close to multiple train stations, short 10 min walk to Shinjuku. Rooms were comfortable, service and amenities were great.
