I didn't do my research well so I was expecting a better viewing angle of the Mt. Fuji. However it does have a beautiful view of the lake itself. Pillows were a bit too thin for us personally.

Friendly staff and they have a shuttle service that picks you up from Kawaguchiko station. Great location as well, located right next to the bus stop. Room is clean, comfortable, and cozy. I'm a fan of the traditional tatami and futon experience. A great centered view of the lake, with Mt. Fuji on the left behind a hill. Breakfast and dinner were a delight! Food was beautifully presented and prepared. However the portion was HUGE and we really could't finish everything. Felt a bit sad to waste the food. Not so sure if it'd be polite to stop them from serving more? Onsen was great and the showering area is well maintained and comfortable.

We were disappointed by the set meal we ordered the second night, which cost three times as much as going to a local restaurant. The food looked great and was presented in a beautiful way but most of it didn't taste like much. There were a few dishes that were good but the overall dining experience wasn't great.

The location and the traditional style room is what we came here for and we were not disappointed. There is a great local restaurant right in front of the hotel that has amazing local cuisine and the landscape is beautiful.

The dinner and breakfast were amazing. There was definitely things that were not for us but we ate it anyways and could tell that is was prepared well. Very clean and cozy. The staff were the epitome of Japanese hosting.

Would be most convenient to drive in, it would be quite a walk pushing your luggage from the station.

The breakfast was a spread, very traditional Japanese breakfast. Could see mt Fuji from the room, though not a good enough angle to take a nice pic of it. Staff will come in automatically in the evening to lay out the futons (Japanese traditional bed). Very spacious room (able to open 2 large luggage’s and still have walking space!) and toilet

The futon were a little firm for the people in our group who are not used to sleeping on futon.

We had a great stay and enjoyed the view of Mt Fuji on the day we checked in. We loved the onsen and went most mornings and evenings. Staff were lovely and friendly, and the food was fantastic! Thank you for having us!!

The staff is excellent, very helpful and kind. Thank you! The food, both dinner and breakfast, was delicious and a unique, authentic japanese experience. The room was clean, spacious and had a gorgeous view of the lake and mount Fuji. Sitting in an onsen just by myself at 6 am. and looking at mount Fuji is an experience I will never forget :)

Total five star experience for us. All the staff are so very kind and thoughtful and helpful. Lovely rooms and Japanese public bath, and both the breakfast and dinners were beautifully prepared and delicious. We'd love to come again.

We would have loved to be given a choice to choose breakfast as we don't like eating meat and seafood in the morning. Would have preferred to have simple eggs on toast kind of meal for breakfast instead. We'd recommend giving guests the option to choose their breakfast between Japanese and western.

Views are stunning, although couldn't see Mt Fuji. Bath house is a great experience and dinner was a lavish feast with well thought out courses and probably prepared with so much effort and hard work. Staff is super friendly, bird in the hallway beautiful. Overall, amazing experience and we rate it.

Beautiful View. Spacious Room. Amazing Food. Gorgeous Onsen with Fuji view. Short walk to the Main Street and ropeaway. Far enough away to be peaceful.
