A little bit small room (missing space to put clothes) but for 2 days perfectly OK!

Nice new rooms. Very clean. Bed very good and size good!Everything you need! Breakfast was good but limited choice( You can choose between Thai noodle, japanes , Continental wirh toast &ham &egg ) Coffee an juice !

We were sad we had to leave early!!

My sister-in-law and I purchased the Japanese breakfast set and it was out of this world delicious and exceeded our expectations! We were very bummed we did not get to eat the 2nd morning as our travel plans changed our check out time drastically. The room was comfortable, clean and plenty of space and hidden space to move about the well used tiny space We loved the bar food and sake/drink recommendations, as well as how truly accommodating and helpful staff were to ensure we arrived to our future destinations. Next time we visit (sooner than later) we plan to stay with Asai group again.

The room has no closet or drawer, only a few hangers, which complicates the organization for stays of more than one night.

The location of the hotel, the design and amenities in the room. Also the restaurant and bar service were great. The lobby personnel is really helpful, and also umbrellas are available for guests.

We booked a room that turned out to be very small (two luggages).

The hotel is about 5 minutes from the next underground station. Breakfast was very good, you can choose between japanese, american or thai styles.

To enter their lobby, you need to walk down the stairs, but the elevator was not working on the day we arrived. So, we have to carry the heavy suitcase by ourselves. Thees is a currency exchange ATM in the hotel, but the currency exchange rate is ridiculously high compared to other ATM or currency exchange shop.

The room is very clean, and the furniture looks very new. I really like the interior of the room. Breakfast is good value. Hotel staff is very friendly.

Location is ok but probably not the best one since it is still quite far from the main Kyoto station and still 10 minutes walk from the nearest metro or bus station. The staff is gentle but not really helpful, we asked for some recommendations on the city but they gave us none.

Fantastic hotel in a great location. We loved the size of the room and found it to be very comfortable, clean and an enjoyable space to relax after a long day in Kyoto. The English TV channels were an added bonus. The hotel is very close to local coffee shops, convenience stores and also just a few minutes walk from the closest Subway stop.

The night we arrived we were refused to have dinner at the Hotel because of an event. While I do believe that the hotel should cater for events I also believe that some small tables should be still left free for other guests of the hotel to have dinner regardless of any events. It happened to be the day we arrived in Kyoto and after hours of travelling, we were hoping to have a relaxing dinner there. We had to resort to some takeout to eat in the room.

Would have appreciated coffee in the rooms or at least available in the reception area.

The food was excellent at Soi Gaenga. They made check in very easy and had tea and water for us as we checked in. Luggage storage well-organized. Very pleasant and helpful staff, especially C.K. and waiters/waitresses. Great little restaurant that was open for food, drinks, workspace right next to reception area. WiFi was good and rooms quite comfortable.
