It is above the train station so you can here the trains.

This place is in an excellent location. Gion and major shopping district an easy walk away. It's super cute, stayed here with my 11 year old daughter who thought it was like the Barbie house ;)

There isn't anything I can think of.

The location was perfect, a short walk from the centre and right next to a train station. The room was so cute, the design was beautiful and a very cosy little room.

Perfect location with many sites and restaurants within walking distance. The subway and buses are right on the doorstep of the hostel. Very comfortable beds. Spacious showers and lots of ammenities. Would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay at CAFETEL Kyoto. The room was so comfortable and surprisingly spacious. It has everything you need and the staff were welcoming and helpful. It’s in a fabulous location with easy access to the train station Highly recommend

Super clean and comfortable, felt very secure and safe in the hostel. Direct access to station via a lift from inside the hostel which was super helpful. Staff were all so sweet and helpful too. Location was great and walking distance from almost everything we wanted to do. The bathrooms/make up and hair facilities were some of the best I have ever had in a hostel. All in all I have no complaints at all, definitely worth the higher hostel cost!

Because the hostel was on top of the station, you can feel the metro passing by. If you are a light sleeper, make sure to bring some earplugs, although we were able to fall in sleep quite quickly!

The stay was outstanding! The houses were soo cute and the beds were comfortable. All facilities were clean and luxurious. The location was great! Close to the station and within walking distance of several sightseeing places. The staff were friendly and it was great that we could use the cafe as common space. We would definitely come back and we highly recommend this place.

Wish elevator to rooms was inside building rather than having to walk around outside building to use cafe. Cafe often said “closed” when still open.

The hostel was very clean! The bunk beds were comfortable, roomy, and private. Location was amazing, right near gion district.

Too bad no chance to try out the cafe as it was close at the moment. Hopefully it will open next time.

Location was convenient as the elevator is directly link to the station. Good for people with heavy luggages.

- The mirror for dressing and hair setting are only 2 and always be used. - If there are some mugs on the 2-3 floors near the refrigerator, I will love it more. (I got a kettle from the cafe, but I cloud not drink coffee that night because there is no mug on the 2-3 floor)

I like the bathroom so much, and also the dressing room. There are many hair dryers and hair irons. Oh, I like that it's near Kamo river. So good to take a walk in the morning.

Room cleanliness and space. Our room is 3-bedded room. The carpet with lots of stain and the room with lots of dust. Be prepared if you are bringing big luggages as it is not easy to open the luggages in the room with the limited space.

The hotel's location is fantastic! It's accessible to the train station and it's super convenient. It's close to few tourist spots and shopping areas. Lots of restaurants nearby too. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Toilets, bathrooms and make up areas are all good and clean.

The location for transportation was good but the nearest convenience store was a 5 minute walk away.

We loved the room and the facilities. The concept of 3 girlfriends traveling was really nice especially since as a grouolp of 3 its hard to find lodging.

The amenities were excellent, especially the bathrooms, which were clean, spacious, and stocked with hair curlers, straighteners, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. The individual stalls were also spacious and comfortable. The room itself was comfortable and clean, and the location was within walking distance of a number of attractions and restaurants. We had a great time here, and we highly recommend it!
