How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The room was small, no view from the "window" we had, the TV stand was not that stable, and there was a weird smell that came from the toilet water.
The hotel was located in a more night busy area, in the day time it was pretty quiet. The room was small but we were able to manage for 3 people. There was no view from the window and there was a big flat TV in the room but it was just one a pole, so it was a little scared that it might fall down. The staff was really nice and was able to accommodate any request we had. It was easy to walk to the train stations.

Smaller room than in photos. Our bags were all over the floor so it was difficult to move. The floor is light colour so it looks a bit dirty but it is as clean as possible I think.
It was in a good location snd staff was really nice. They took our bags to the room when the room was free. That was really nice.

No avilable window on the room and there was noisy fan in the toilet .
Very close to two subway stations in Aksaka . Lots of food nearby and shops The hotel guides were great. The room is big enough for for family of 4 peraons.

A bit difficult to get to if you have giant luggages like us, but that's our problem! Room was clean, it just gets a bit warm 😅 And the view wasn't that great but not a big deal for us!
Staff was incredibly nice and attentive, provided useful amenities, and was less than 10 min away from the train station!

Lack of natural light and the bathroom wasn’t the freshest smelling, but you are in a capital city after all.
Great location, plenty of places to eat nearby and great to escape the crowds at the end of the day. There is a lovely bakery across the street that we bought breakfast from the night before.

Bed was hard and the room configuration wasn’t good. Meant we felt got the 24m2 space, that we only had room near the bed as the rest of the room was used as a hallway around the shower and toilet.
Staff were friendly and helpful. The location was good, near the train station and restaurants

The fact that there is 2 washing machines and 2 dryers for the whole building beside that was good there is a coin laundry- dryer 5 minute walk away from there if both laundry machines occupied
The staff were very helpful and very nice did everything to make our stay the best way possible. It's like 6-7 minutes walk from the nearby metros which was very good since we went to a lot of nearby cities

Very active at night and less family friendly.

No breakfast.
The workers went extra mile helping us connect and arrange for arrival and departure. Help and take care with our luggages. One up and down bunkbed plus two queen size bed definitely accomodate comfortably the small to medium size single family. Location superb, close to restaurants.

The only negative I would highlight is the room needed a wardrobe and it only had 5/6 hangers. We stayed for 8 days so we had to struggle with that part only.
One of the best locations to stay in Tokyo; restaurants and other cafes are all within 2/5 mins walk from the hotel and it has access to 2 train stations which is also within <10 mins walk from the hotel. Access to places like Shibuya or Central Tokyo are only less than 25 mins on the train. The staff at the reception is super friendly and helpful. The rooms can be cleaned on-demand everyday or as per your requirement. Also, the hotel provides all the basic amenities and I found this better than some 5* hotels in Europe.

The blanket was wet after the room has been cleaned by the staff, it was kind of unpleasant. People outside the hotel would scream at night and early morning.
The staffs are really friendly and helpful. Great location that is located near the train station. The washing machine has the drying function. The toilet is spacious and clean.

Our room had no natural daylight.
The room for 3 was a great value compared to other offerings. View of Akasaka from the top floor a nice bonus. Laundry was available without any wait.

Our room was accessed via a lift from the street, outside the main hotel. Our children’s room was inside the hotel. They couldn’t come to see us without a key to operate the lift. Luckily they’re old enough to cope.
Good location on the Gina/chiyodah line.
