Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomIt’s in an industrial estate so there’s only a 7 11 convenience store nearby. Give how close it is to the airport, it’s still a fairly long route by public transport but if you don’t mind getting a taxi it’s only a short ride from the airport
It was a very nice property with helpful staff. The rooms were modern, clean and very comfortable. The views across the river were very nice too!

United KingdomI walked here from Kojimashinden Station, and nearly missed it. Luckily a friendly local pointed out where I went wrong and then walked me back! It might be safest to book a taxi or try to use the shuttle from Kawasaki Station (especially if you have lots of luggage).
This was an ideal location for an early flight out of Haneda Airport. It also has a cafe and restaurant on site, and there's a Seven-11 a little way off. The views across the river to the airport are stunning, particularly at night. You can even see the Tokyo Skytree! My room was clean and well appointed, with an industrial aesthetic that runs through the whole building. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

Love that there's a shuttle bus to the airport. Lobby area was aesthetic and the bed was comfortable. Wish I had more time to spend at the hotel!!

United StatesThere was a new training staff at the front desk, and he did not even try to put the right tags for the Takkyubin service to send the luggage to our next hotel. We told him it was not matched up to who owned each luggage. In laziness, he said they were already weighed, so would not change it. It ended up one of the unmatched luggages got severely damaged, so it made it very difficult to make a claim by the owner's whose luggage got damaged. There needs to be greater care in matching the label with the right person's luggage for this reason. The person had to buy new luggage in Tokyo, and it was more than what they could get compensated for. Please be more careful and less lazy.
It's location near Haneda International Airport, and the shuttles to/from the airport and to the local Kawasaki train station and shopping center. It was very convenient and an extra value.

United KingdomClose to Haneda airport terminal 3 - only a ¥3000 taxi fare (there is a free shuttle if you land at terminal 1). Arrived at 1am after a late night flight, but checked in smoothly and staff were very polite and friendly. Free shuttle to Kawasaki train station for onward travel into centre of Tokyo. Very comfortable and clean hotel.

United StatesFront desk staff didn't speak a lot of English, or speak much, period. More information could have been provided about the rooms when the desk clerks can't communicate certain information. It didn't seem like hospitality was in their training. Japanese people are very respectful, professional and cordial in my experience - not here. Every time I went to the front desk, from check-in to check-out, I felt like I was inconveniencing staff. It took detective work to find out where the coffee maker in the room was (placed inside one of the dresser drawers), and where to eat. One front desk agent recommended walking to the 7/11 she said was thirty minutes away, though the ground floor restaurant in the hotel was open and was very good! ?? It was very confusing. There were other "situations" with the front desk people, like being asked to park in the bus's lane, which puzzled the shuttle bus drivers, and being charged about $20 extra for that, which we found out later was unnecessary. Though purported to be "green" and eco-friendly, we had to wear plastic gloves to enjoy the breakfast buffet. More plastic waste! Again, confusing, and I've never seen that requirement anywhere in my travels.
The views are amazing. The hotel is on a biking and walking path adjacent to a park. It's a new hotel and is beautifully furnished. Rooms look out over the river and across to the airport. It's beautiful during the day and at night! Just being in the room with that view was satisfying. The retro lighting in the rooms evenings was inviting and not glaring. The waitress in the adjacent grill/cafe was very friendly, as was the shuttle bus driver. I was so excited to stay in "the world's first hydrogen hotel." The views and proximity to Haneda Airport made it all worth it.

ThailandPlease improve the vent fan in the toilet. The sliding bathroom door is not air-seal, I don't like the smell to disturb my other roommates. This is one very important factor when I book hotels. I saw in the picture, but it didn't work.
The best thing is cheap price, with decent quality. Very close to Haneda Airport. The shuttle is very convenient and run quite frequently. I used it many times to travel between Kawasaki station. Very useful when you got big luggage, since closest walk to train station is 10 mins, and sometimes windy. However, no shuttle from terminal3.
