Location is a bit off. But the Gojo station next door was a big saviour for commuting with kyoto and also to the main highlights

Very convenient apart hotel with kitchenette and decent sized rooms. Staff is very helpful. Morning breakfast was average with hardly any vegetarian stuff..

Our stay at Citadines went off without a hitch. The rooms were clean and the staff went above and beyond. My friend had left an item at the hotel realising only a week later. The hotel had responded stating they had secured the item and then researched how to send the item back to our home country. They continued to work with us on how to get the item back, going above and beyond for a customer that had already checked out and departed the hotel. Truely cannot express the gratitude for the employees who were kind and full of assistance. The location of the hotel was great within working distance to attractions and train stations. Would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Great room. Ours had the separate kitchen area and a small lounge. HEAPS of room which was surprising. Only 1km walk to Kyoto station so close to all the action and also about 25m to the subway. HUGE bed which is pretty rare for Japan ?

The residence is not far from the railway station (a 15 minute walk) and near the Gojo subway station. It is close to two main temples, in a area with few eateries (more places to eat and restaurants are at the station), a supermarket is few steps away. Our top floor apartment was the right choice for a short stay. It had a balcony facing a busy road (but no traffic noise with windows closed). The staff was always smiling and really helpful in a couple of occasions.

Would have been nice to leave enough coffee and sugar so each adult could have a morning and night drink. Leaving only 2 sugar, coffee and creamer sachets in the room each day was quite stingy.

Location was excellent - walking distance (with suitcases) from the train station (local Gojo as well as main Kyoto station where shinkansen departs). Also walking to many other places. Convenient grocery store just down the block. Having a little kitchenette was just great 👍

Carpet in the dining area is not the best option in my opinion. We had breakfast once at the hotel but it was quite basic.

Clean, spacious, yukata available, convenient large kitchen. Friendly personnel and always present at the reception. Across the road there is a 7/11 and other convenience stores are also closeby.

Across the road from a fire station, but the sirens didn’t bother us too much.

A lovely apartment with good size balcony, very close to the subway and three supermarkets. Quite a few restaurants and an “Irish” pub in easy walking distance. The bed was huge and comfortable, there is a microwave and single hot plate and cooking utensils in the apartment. There is also a laundry within the complex. Easy walk to a large temple complex and the warren of secluded laneways around the location. One stop from Kyoto central station in the subway (take exit 6 if you have heavy suitcases).

The breakfast while covering most of the necessities was just so so. Kept me from giving the highest rating.

Our room was considered Premium although it fell in line with other bookings price wise. We're not really sure whether this was representative of all the rooms or just a fluke. But the room had a functional balcony albeit without chairs, small kitchenette, and a couch with mini table - something that could never fit in most of the business class hotels we have been booking. So it was a treat.

The bed was terribly hard, this seems to be similar across Japan but I would love the option to pay for a softer bed underlay.

A beautiful hotel, lovely entrance and fantastic studio style apartment which is very rare in japan. The staff were also fantastic, very helpful.
