If you want to go out to bars in Nagoya not the best location - needs a walk. But suited me

I was here for the Grand Prix and it was in a very good location close to the train station and bus station Good price; and as with many hotels in Japan very clean Staff were friendly and helpful Comfortable beds and very quiet

Room too small with the price I paid and I feel suffocated inside the room with twin sharing. Bed and pillow is also not so comfortable

Staff never asked guests if they are driving. Ended up paying 4600 yen from 6pm to 9am parking. When enquired if they could do anything since they did not provide information at check-in that there was discount parking coupon for guests, they said it was not their problem, totally not keen to help guest. The room looks old. The bfast variety is limited. In fact, the worst I had seen in Japan.

The price, location to train station going airport. The room was clean.

Bit too much automation. I didn’t quite like checking in and checking out using a machine (probably just me, prefer the human touch), though receptionist was advising what to do.

Japanese efficiency, from check in to amenities, housekeeping and check out. Breakfast was nice, coffee machine never out of coffee, juices always available, food never runs out and tastes great - super impressive! Location is perfect, very close to Nagoya station.

    1. Breakfast was below average in terms of variety and quality. The Vietnamese cuisine (such as the chicken pho and coconut curry) were pale shadows of authentic Vietnamese food. 2. Bed was springy and uncomfortable, and the single pillow provided was very thin. 3. Room carpet was peeling at one side, under the massage chair. We also found it extremely strange to have a massage chair in the room. 4. Room layout is weird, with a long corridor leading to the WC and bathroom and cupboard before entering the bedroom proper. Not much space to open two medium-sized check-in luggage. 5. Room soundproofing is terrible. We could hear the sirens of ambulance vehicles passing by in the early morning, and at one point even heard loudspeakers blaring an announcement in Japanese around midnight. 6. Room furniture old and fading. Entire place has seen better days.

    1. Relatively affordable. 2. One of the closest hotels to the Meitetsu airport line at Nagoya Station. 3. Near to a few convenience stores. 4. Check in and check out done via machine, with English available as a language option. Fast and efficient. 5. Bathroom large for Japanese standards, with a decent-sized bathtub.

Unclean with bad mattresses - avoid this Daiwa Roynet
    • Leisure trip
    • Solo traveller
    • Moderate Double Room - Non-Smoking
    • Stayed 1 night

I generally enjoy staying in Daiwa Roynet Hotels, but this was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had in Japan. 1) The toilet seat had brown splatters on and had clearly not be cleaned! There was hair from the previous guest on the bedroom floor as well - no vacuuming had taken place. 2) They showed me to a new room. It was OK but still, the bathroom area could have been cleaner. (The toilet wasn't perfect but, by this point, I was too tired). 3) The mattress was extremely hard and uncomfortable, and the sheets were so thin, they were partially see-through. 4) The windows don't open - this is a personal preference, but if you do any research on CO2 levels in rooms, I am sure you'll agree that airing the room is a good plan :) 5) For the price, the cleanliness, facilities, etc., were shockingly poor.

    Location is extremely convenient.

The room that I got when comeback from Takayama was old and not clean at all. First stay was good.

Location is good for traveling around. Easy to find something to eat because famous restaurants are located around such as in ESCA and floor 11-12 in JR tower. Room is compact but functional.

There were dead skin cells and dust under the cups on the vanity. Spit marks were on the splash back next to the mirror. The beds were not comfortable. The bathroom was much much smaller than the pictures on the internet. It was noisy at night. The restaurant downstairs was overpriced and not very good.

The staff were very friendly. Early bag drop off was smooth. Washer/dryer was very handy.

The property itself was so clean and they have complete amenities including a coin laundry which was so convenient. The breakfast was also sooooo good! There’s also a 7/11 on the 1st floor. The location was great since it’s close to the center, also 5 minutes away from Nagoya Station.

    1. Hope that I can have extra blanket and pillows next time 2. TV does not have any channels or shows to watch. Have to pay extra if we wanna watch shows on TV. They only have YouTube news . 3. Very noisy at night . Constantly have police siren . May I suggest that the hotel consider to put more sound proof for rooms next to the main road .

Location is near the train . Must exit from the taiko dori side Bed is very big enough for me + hubby + 3 Yr old son to sleep . Room is very clean . Massage chair is very comfy . Have coin operated laundry machine + dryer. The first round usually clothing is not fully dry so have to add on extra 30 mins drying function . From the tv can see which washing machine is available. It is in the building just next to Animate. At level 1 there is a convenient store. There is a side door for hotel guests to enter the convenient store . Which is closed only from midnight to 6am .

I booked a three-person room with 1 adult and 2 children on booking.com, and I also bought breakfast included at the same time, but the counter staff said that they can only provide one breakfast coupon for adults. I have never encountered such a situation. Based on my previous experience on booking.com in the past, I ordered 3 people, then I had 3 breakfast coupons.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, very close to the train station or supermarket. breakfast is also good

Excellent location - so close to the main Nagoya station. Super clean, tidy, neat. The whole room is well thought out and great amenities. Loved the PJ’s and slippers provided. There’s something lovely about the hotel - it’s really the nicest 3 star hotel I’ve stayed in.
