Stayed there for one night during the Shikoku pilgrimage and had a great time. The staff was very friendly, the kitchen was well equipped and the bed comfy. I would stay there again, if I visit Uwajima again!

Everything inside the house makes you feel like at home. It is literally a japanese style house and you live inside. There is way much more space than I expected, you can share the space with others or stay alone without any problem. The bed was comfortable. The tatami, too. And everything is clean.

If you have quiet neighbors like our first night, this place is really just fine. If you have noisy late party folks like our second night, then you might not get much sleep. The Booking.com location map is way off so following that map had us going in circles. When you leave the train station, turn right and walk to the first street, then turn right and keep walking along the left side of the street a few blocks and you’re there.

A good value in a good location. Great beds in the private twin room. Not too far walking to all of the historic sites of friendly Uwajima.

The Guesthouse has a really nice and big shared space, with an easy to use kitchen, a tatami room and a campfire chill room. Totally awesome. The owners were very kind and friendly! The Guesthouse is also conveniently located in Uwajima City. Restaurants, a supermarket, convenience store and the station are easily accessible and it is also only a short walk to the castle. I really wished I could have stayed longer and would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend for those who enjoy staying in Guesthouses.

The property was renovated by the owner, very clean and well organized. The owner family is super kind and friendly, I stayed on my birthday and they came back next morning to see me out with celebration! That was such a lovely experience.

There was only one shower, but it wasn’t really a problem since there aren’t that many guests there even when it’s fully booked. Honestly no complaints!

Super clean facilities with everything you could need. Washer available for only ¥100. Staff was very kind and gave great recommendations for stuff to do in the area. The owners are an adorable family and it was so much fun to talk to the husband about their adventures around Japan. The owner spoke some English and was very helpful.

No staff onsite (I don't understand why it costs extra to check in later since they're only there when checking people in). No parking onsite, only expensive parking nearby. Not clean, dust everywhere, moldy food in the kitchen. Dirty kitchen. Only 1 shower. Signs everywhere. I've definitely stayed in better places for less than this price.

Central location, well equipped. Heating, WiFi, hot shower. It was quiet as it was the off-season.
