I was in Okinawa for 2 weeks, this was 2 days of my trip. This by far was my favorite. Cozy island and beach, swam with sea turtles , ate AMAZING food and the property was steps away from the most amazing beach. The couple was soooo super sweet and accommodating. I did not want to leave! This property will be why I come back.

We loved absolutely everything! And especially the owners who are charming, kind, helpful and their hospitality is on the highest possible level! The place is lovely, clean, quiet, comfortable, super close to a beautiful beach. The surroundings are amazing as well. And the food in the guesthouse restaurant is gorgeous! I fell in love with this place!

We had a lovely stay here! Excellent rooms and delicious food! The location couldn’t be any better with ama beach on your doorstep. An amazing beach with beautiful corals and turtles 😁 the owners were so friendly and helpful and made this such a memorable stay.

What a find! This is carefully designed accommodation (with a restaurant) on a beautiful and simple tropical island. The folks who run this boutique place are welcoming, friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, western style, scrupulously clean and beautifully appointed. Breakfast is a gorgeous feast of freshly prepared foods of the highest quality.

Absolutely nothing!!

Nori and Edi are absolutely amazing people. Their kindness, hospitality, and care made our time in Zamami infinitely better. Not only did they make us feel incredibly welcome, but their breakfasts and dinners were also exceptional! We couldn't have asked for better hosts, and we're truly grateful for their warmth and generosity. Highly recommended!

Very clean and tidy property, immediately next to beautiful AMA beach where you can see green sea turtles, coral reefs and colourful fish. The owners are very kind and we enjoyed chatting with them as well as the delicious food Miyahira san prepared for breakfast and dinner. We are giving 10/10 for this stay and looking forward to be back!

This was my second time in Zamami. After my first positive experience by Nori & Ery. I selected the date, which was still available and planned my trip around. I wanted to stay here and show my parents how beautiful Zamami is. They pick You up from the boat, their hospitality is so nice. Great home made Zamami food nice and fresh and they really take care of you. It was already warm, as we where not used to that, they where concerned and helped us making our stay very comfortable. Thank You again Nori & Ery for your great help and hospitality. You make it an unforgettable experience which we will never forget. To everybody who is looking to travel to Zamami. When You have the possibility to visit Dining & Stay 38 Miyahira, please do it, You will never forget it.

There's unfortunately only 2 rooms so make sure to book far in advance!

This is THE place to stay in Zamami! It is clean, close to the beach and the food is amazing! But most of all, Miyahira-San and his wife are wonderful hosts! They took such good care of us and went above and beyond our expectations! So friendly, professional and helpful, I highly recommend staying here or at least going to dinner here! Miyahira-San was a chef in Tokyo for decades, this was by far the best food we had all week!

the owners, Nori and Eriko, were warm and accommodating to our needs. they even fetched us back and forth and lent us a hand when the shuttle bus services had ended. the food Nori cooks is so delicious, u really need to try it for yourself. i will miss the food. it’s also super close to Ama beach where you can spot turtles!

The Miyahira couple has put a lot of effort into this B&B to make it perfect. We highly recommend visiting Zamami Island and Miyahira. And do not forget to eat there, you will have an amazing experience. It was a great honor to be the first Chinese tourist to visit here.Hope to revisit in the near future.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. We came here as part of our honeymoon. We had been staying at 5-star hotels and eating at fancy Michelin restaurants in the big cities, yet this was truly the highlight of our trip. Miyahira and his wife and incredibly kind and make you feel like you are at home. There are only two guest bedrooms so their attention is undivided. Everything is clean and the location is amazing (less than a minute walk to the beach). However, the star of the show really is the food. Oh my goodness, it was incredibly. We ordered pretty much the entire menu between our two nights there and no dish disappointed. I read in other reviews that he was previously a chef in Tokyo, so I had high expectations, but they were exceeded. The prices were also very affordable especially when compared to other places on the island that cannot even come close to comparing to the quality of their food. If you are thinking about staying here, don't think any further, just do it and you will not regret it!

Wish we would have stayed longer.

The property is immaculately kept and the bed is soft and fantastic. The owners do all the little things like pick you up and drop you off from ferry pier. The owner is a chef and loves cooking for his guest we had a fabulous meal for dinner and breakfast on the roof terrace sitting waswe great. If you are going to stay on Zamami stay here for the a true authentic experience.

That we couldn’t stay longer, we wish we would have had a few nights there not just one.

Lovely little hotel, 2 minutes walk from one of the main beaches and snorkelling spots. The room was very comfortable and clean, it had everything we needed. A lovely little balcony and area to sit out and gaze at the stars. The restaurant area was lovely too and the food was great. We had breakfast and dinner there. The owners were fantastic so friendly and helpful with everything. They picked up and dropped us off at the port without any issue. Highly recommend staying here and would happily stay here again next time we’re in Zamani.

Excellent stay at 38 Miyahara Dining and Stay! Owners are a very sweet couple who are welcoming, caring, attentive and exceptional hosts! Accommodation was clean, comfortable, spacious, and quiet. Two separate guestrooms on the upper floor with terrace. Conveniently located less than 1 min walk to beautiful Ama Beach! About 1-2 min walk to the town bus as well. Able to rent beach equipment (snorkel masks, fins, tent) from them, all in great condition. They also drove us to and from the ferry port and were so thoughtful to offer to lend us their hat when we forgot ours! Restaurant, izakaya style, was absolutely incredible! Amazing food and service! Was very glad to eat there during our whole stay, tried most of the menu and everything was delicious, meticulously and beautifully prepared. They were also so kind to provide a tasty packed bento lunch for us one day. Both Western and Japanese style breakfasts included were also wonderful! Dinner menu available in both English and Japanese (though be sure to not miss out on the mozuku seaweed tempura on the Japanese menu (not on the English menu)). Highly recommend them and look forward to returning!

Almost completed building site near by so little noise

It’s a two storey house with only two bedrooms for guests. Comfortable beds and bathroom with all facilities. The owner is local who came back to the island after 43 years in Tokyo as a chef. Beautiful dinners and good breakfasts. 3minutes from the town bus and amazing beach for snorkelling and turtles watching Very recommended
