Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The accommodation is a 5-10 minutes walk away from the bus station and from the only convenience store in the village. The rooms are basic but cheap. Ideal choice for a planned hike of Mount Bandai.

Everything about it!! The building itself is very cozy with a lot of decorations all over the world. You will be falling in love with it the moment you explore it. They also have piano and other musical instrument that you can play. The room is also exceptionally comfortable and clean. You can also enjoy soaking yourself in the bath. The breakfast is really delicious. Aside from the main course, I was also given dessert and juice. Moreover, the owner is also really friendly. You will love both your stay and them. Not to mention, the place is really close to the beautiful goshikinuma ponds, one of the best place to enjoy autumn leaves in Tohoku, Japan.

Japanthe owners can also provide dinner for an additional fee of 4000 JPY so it felt a little awkward when we wanted to eat our own food in the shared spaces which also happened to be the dinner space.
