I would have preferred a bit more privacy while walking to the onsen, felt like people were looking from the bar as we walked past.

Such an amazing hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the restaurant/food was some of the best food we had in Japan. The room was a great size/ great washing facilities and of course the selling point is the Onsen. Would 100% make a visit again.

The beds are hard to sleep on, the breakfast and dinner timings are a bit strict.

Onsen allows 6 people max and quite full book. There is no booking system so I can’t get a chance to use this facility. Be appreciated if booking with schedule can be arranged.

Room size is quite big. We like restroom. Breakfast is very good, so delicious and nice arranged.

We were looking for accommodation that is traditional yet equipped with modern facilities. We absolutely loved how spacious our room was with a small balcony overlooking the cable car. The staff were extremely helpful and ensured that the food is catered to our needs - extremely content with the service and the food choices and ambience. Staff have done their duties beyond excellence. Onsen was great and not crowded. My kid loved the room so much that he was reluctant to leave the room. He was thrilled to wear Yukata of his size for the first time. The whole experience left us speechless and extremely grateful to the staff. I highly recommend.

The staff were amazing! I stayed there on my birthday and the staff went above & beyond to make it special. They gave me chop sticks and chocolate as a gift as well as a free desert with happy birthday written on it. Truely a special stay! The room was comfy & clean with great facilities in an awesome location

The carpet and couch in our room were really filthy. They both looked like they should have been replaced years ago.

The location was brilliant and although the hostel was very close to the station, it was very quiet at night. The onsen was much appreciated after a long day of walking. We loved the restaurant - the dinner was amazing and staff very helpful.

Just be aware that the dorm doesn't have a bathroom, but the onsen facilities only to wash. But there is a private shower with a curtain for the shy ones.

Great staff, food, onsen, spacious dorm. Location perfect right at the train and cable car station. I definitely would go there again.

Everything was good. The area dont offer to many restaurants/shops in the evening.

A perfect hotel if you want to stay in the Hakone Area (after visiting everything). The hotel is nice and have everyhing you need for one 1 day. There is also a small spa and breakfast is good.

The onsen wasn't quite up to the exceptional standard of the rest of the hotel. This is more an observation than a complaint.

An exceptional space tended by caring and exceptional staff, offering outstanding service topped off with exceptional breakfast, that was out of this world! Emblem Flow is more than a hotel but a space that embodies the feeling of a retreat at one with nature and caring for the environment complete with natural care products in each room. Personalised service was provided at every touch point from arriving at the hotel and enquiring about our dietary needs that was heard and delivered to entry to our large and airy room, where we were welcome with a personalised note. Their pre-arrival messages were on-point and more than I have ever received from a hotel. From walking time to the hotel plus list of places to eat and visit, complete with closing times, addressed any lingering questions I might have had about the location.

The only thing that we didn't like was their breakfast. It looked good on the paper but was strange and limited in reality. There is not much selection as it is individually served. The taste of eggs and salad was not good (in our opinion), and we needed to ask and wait for a piece of bread.

We liked our room that was clean, comfortable and big enough for 4 people. It had all the usual Japanese hotel amenities (like slippers and yukata). We also liked the small onsen and communal space and kitchenette available for guests usage on the 3rd floor. The hotel is steps away from Hakone Tozan train Gora station and cable car station, near Gora Park. Lawson store and Open Air Museum is a 10-minute walk or 1 train station away.

The onsen could be cleaner. (I used it firstly at 6:30 am as it just opened) It would be nicer if they have samll size Yukata for kids too :)

It's located right next to Gora station that you need to pass for going up to Owakudani. They have a small, cozy onsen and a nice restaurant. I would stay here again.
