Disappointed about private onsen access, but everything else great

Lovely little hotel. Fabulous position in Gora (above Hakone) just next to station and cable car. Apparently there’s a public onsen (didn’t use), was misled by reports of a private onset which we planned to use but apparently non existent. Nevertheless, room spacious, delicious breakfast and lovely helpful staff

The shared bathroom could be cleaned more regularly, particularly the sink which had hairs there regularly. They tried their best to accommodate for vegan but would’ve been lovely if they had more options and also dessert. Also found the whole reservation system slightly unnecessary and a bit over engineered for my taste

Amazing location next to Gora Station (to access Hakone free-pass loop). Breakfast was delicious, although a bit fancy for fussy eaters (but they did have hot chips!).

Beautiful property with friendly staff. The room was very clean and spacious. Beds and bedding were perfect. The onsen was a wonderful experience. Very close to Gora Station to start your Hakone adventures.

The location is just next to the gora station . Staff was friendly & helpful. They even provide curler in the bathroom.

The music choice in the bar/restaurant was Western middle-of-the-road dated pop/rock - why?? It didn’t meet the chilled vibe the hotel seemed to be trying to create. We would have eaten in the restaurant all the time, but went once and couldn’t bear the music - it was the worst of all the places we ate/stayed!! Please change the soundtrack!!

It’s got a very relaxed vibe, great location near the station and wide corridors, spacious rooms, which was refreshing - our room even had a sofa. Restaurant & bar onsite & onsen.

I would have preferred a bit more privacy while walking to the onsen, felt like people were looking from the bar as we walked past.

Such an amazing hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the restaurant/food was some of the best food we had in Japan. The room was a great size/ great washing facilities and of course the selling point is the Onsen. Would 100% make a visit again.

The beds are hard to sleep on, the breakfast and dinner timings are a bit strict.

Onsen allows 6 people max and quite full book. There is no booking system so I can’t get a chance to use this facility. Be appreciated if booking with schedule can be arranged.

Room size is quite big. We like restroom. Breakfast is very good, so delicious and nice arranged.

We were looking for accommodation that is traditional yet equipped with modern facilities. We absolutely loved how spacious our room was with a small balcony overlooking the cable car. The staff were extremely helpful and ensured that the food is catered to our needs - extremely content with the service and the food choices and ambience. Staff have done their duties beyond excellence. Onsen was great and not crowded. My kid loved the room so much that he was reluctant to leave the room. He was thrilled to wear Yukata of his size for the first time. The whole experience left us speechless and extremely grateful to the staff. I highly recommend.

Great onsen, spacious room, fantastic location just nex5 to the station and a ropeway. And very nice food on the top of that!
