The single bunk bed rooms are incredibly small, which wasn’t too much of an issue for me but if you are tall or a large person I would not stay here as you will struggle to move around, get up into your bed and use the bathroom.

Really great location, walkable to all the main sights. Super clean. Staff were so helpful, gave great restaurant recommendations and helpful when I needed my luggage stored. There is also a laundry which is handy when you’ve been travelling a few days. The shared lounge and kitchen were also a nice plus given the rooms were small.

Room was very tight to navigate, especially getting into the bed (bed is a bunk bed), but room is more than functional.

Staff were all very friendly. Breakfast was very tasty and filling. Good desk in room and excellent internet connection. Ideal location to visit Kanazawa castle, Omicho market and Higashi Chaya district, with other attractions being walkable within 30mins

We had a room with a bathroom, which was a bit like one you would find in a cabin on a ship. It was a very tight manoeuvre to shut the door and sit on the toilet. It was okay for me but my wife didn't like it. Also, the beds were a little lower so it would not be good if you find it difficult to bend down.

Only slight issue was that the front desk isn't staffed until after 9am so leaving my bags in storage on my last day was a bit tricky. it's a little bit far from the train station but buses are frequent (although very busy)

The room door is noisy: every time it opens or closes, it says "the door has opened" or "the door has closed", for example when one of us went to the toilet in the middle of the night. One warm blanket wasn't enough for the two of us, so we asked for separate blankets and were charged money for the second one (1000 yen). The check-in was an unpleasant experience: you have to fill out some form on the tablet, but it's not really a self check in, because the guy at the reception acted in a condescending way while guiding us step by step through the process. Instead of this convoluted hybrid process, it would be more pleasant and no less efficient if the receptionist had been the one with the tablet and had just asked us for the details.

We stayed for 7 days and could stay more, because it was very pleasant and Kanazawa has so much to offer that we ended up with a to do list for next time! The staff were super friendly, there's a friendly atmosphere. The common area has a very well equipped kitchen and it's a pleasant place to have your meals and chat with people. We usually got bento boxes at the basement floor of the nearby mall or sushi at the market and ate them in the common area. The location is a huge advantage, because local buses in Kanazawa are slow and crowded, so it's important to have many things at a waking distance. The shared toilet and shower were clean and convenient, they almost didn't feel shared.

The walls are on thin side. Room is also on the small size; im 155cm/5’2” tall so this doesnt bother me but i know someone thats taller or bigger than i am will feel that the room is cramped.

Location. 2 blocks away from omicho market, which makes getting around kanazawa by public bus a breeze. Theyre also a few blocks away from kanazawa castle grounds and nishi-chaya. My room is also cozy; on the small size but it has everything i need (proper bed, warm functining ac, own bath and toilet) so no complaints about the room. Staff (i think her name was hera) was also friendly and helpful; always ready to answer questions. I communicated with the hotel using this app’a chat function and theyre so responsive. I used the kitchen to make hot tea and toasts.

The room was decently spacious for single occupancy. The whole place was very clean and comfortable. The location was convenient - only 3 minute-walk to Omicho Market. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

My friend in another room with en suite bathroom had no hot water in the shower on the first night of stay. I experienced it on the last day of stay. Quite an unusual experience.

The room was large by most standards. It was very clean and comfortable.

- .. but the room is not so good. It is dark, the light system is not convenient at all (need to climb up in the bed to turn on the light, then down to turn off the main light, then up again.. maybe I missed something ?), walls are thin, space is not well used (why putting the bed above and have an almost useless space under) Still, despite these cons I slept quite well.

Location is okay, its a bit of a walk, but not too far. Its well situated to explore multiple parts of the city. The shared kitchen is well equipped and welcoming. no complaints the room was well equipped, but it can get a bit claustrophobic if you are big. the bed will be slightly too short for people with 6 feet thart all being said, its still a really good room to sleep in, with its own bathroom, and for a very reasonable price.
