AustraliaThe signing on the hotel is so small for a first time visitor it is difficult to see as it could be mistaken for just another building in the street. Also the breakfast is quite small adequate for me but my son might have been looking for more.
This property is in easy walkable distance to a lot of major attractions and very central. Lots of restaurants close by. Very clean and in a nice quiet street. The staff were very attentive and it was nice having the free coffee machine available. Beautifully decorated comfortable rooms in japan styling. This is a small boutique hotel.

United StatesSmall rooms - couldn’t open our suitcase. There’s a smoking section in between the lobby and the elevator and the smell of cigarettes permeates if theres a smoking guest. We don’t speak Japanese (I know, our fault!) and had difficulty finding food around the hotel.
Nicely designed rooms with high quality materials. The bowl of noodles at night was so nice! Nice amenities in the room. Super clean!

United StatesThe only thing I wish would have been a tiny bit different was the pillows. If the pillows had been a bit bigger, it would have been perfect. But that’s nit-picking. We still give it a 10 (the first 10 I think I’ve ever given).
This hotel was as close to perfect as a hotel can be. My wife and I loved everything about it from the room, to the beds, to the staff, to the food! Everything was spectacular!

United StatesFantastic, spa-like, relaxing ambiance both in the room and in the lobby/dining/entrance area. We really loved the free drinks, made it so easy to drop by the hotel to recharge between sightseeing. Nice central location in a quieter neighborhood but still right next to Omicho market, walking distance to the castle park, Kenroku-en, Higashi Chaya, and plenty of food options. Incredible value and very welcoming. So generous with their amenities - besides the free drinks, we also appreciated the bath salts, evening udon, and welcome sweets. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I get the chance to return to Kanazawa.

This stay exceeded our expectations. What a fantastic place. Besides good rooms, the staff was increadibly helpful in making our stay memorable. The lobby of the hotel serves as a place to gather with others, a great place for a late coffee or tea. AustraliaSteep staircase to suites, very difficult to navigate with large suitcases. Suite superbly appointed but very small. Attic area accommodated 3 beds up many stairs, but sitting area tiny, suited to a couple with backpacks only. Recommend looking at ground floor accommodation.
