A whole lot of nothing.

We absolutelly enjoyed our short stay at Kanazawa Zoushi! Receptiion staff was super nice and welcoming. We had free drinks in the room fridge and breakfast was very good. Location is also very convenient - a walking disctance from the train station and a couple of blocks from the Omicho Market. This place is trully a gem!

Outstanding value. The hotel is decorated stylishly with many added touches that went above and beyond the usual. They provided traditional clothes to wear, bathing suits salts, free delicious udon soup at night, unlimited coffee, tea, and assorted drinks 24/7. Delightful place to stay.

The location was a straightforward 10-minute walk from the main Kanazawa station (where the Shinkansen stops), and centrally located to walk easily to all of the places we wanted to visit in town. The hotel itself was gorgeous, the staff were all very kind, the shower, toilet, and bed were all top-tier, the Japanese breakfast was balanced, light, and delicious, and there were lots of free amenities. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again if I have the chance to return to Kanazawa!! 本当にありがとうございました〜

The staff was very helpful (we forgot items in the previous hotel and they organised the delivery per post for us). The common space in the lobby is not that big but well organised, practical (free hot and cold drinks, a big table and smaller ones) and cute. The rooms are comfortable, well decorated and calm.

The outdoor lobby area between reception and the lifts often smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke, not nice to have to walk through when coming and going

The welcome snack and drink were a nice touch. We had free drinks provided in the room and replenished daily. Very comfortable beds. Really nice bathroom, they let you choose your bath salts on check in. Staff were very friendly and the atmosphere in the reception area was always nice and lively. Free noodle meal at night ( we didn’t have as we ate out, but nice to know the option was available) Little thank you gift on check out was another nice touch. In our 3 week holiday, this was the best place we stayed. Easy walk to market and train station and good local shopping.

Literally the only thing I didn’t like was that some of the lightswitches are really hard to find (FYI - they’re behind the pillows) and they have a light in them that comes on when you turn the light off.

Everything! The room was really well thought out with lots of hooks/storage space (which has been rare on our Japan trip!). The bed was really comfortable and the shower was excellent. The hotel is in a good location close to the town and the staff are all really friendly. The free snacks and bath salts are a lovely touch too.

Everything was perfect.

The location was perfect - about a 10 min walk from Kanazawa Station and 5 minutes to the market. We were able to walk to all the min sights with ease. The staff was lovely! We received a welcome sweet upon arrival, there are complimentary beverages in the room and lobby, free bowl of yummy udon noodles every night. The shower room was wonderful, great design of the hotel. We received a little personalized gift upon checkout which was a wonderful touch.

Our room was a little more compact than we expected. Also would appreciate if the smoking area was not located immediately next to the guest entrance to the hotel rooms

The staff were super attentive and made our stay very memorable. Loads of extras (including udon noodles every evening, coffee and tea in the lobby all day, a goodbye gift) really made our stay special. The location was perfect too - very close to the market.

The signing on the hotel is so small for a first time visitor it is difficult to see as it could be mistaken for just another building in the street. Also the breakfast is quite small adequate for me but my son might have been looking for more.

This property is in easy walkable distance to a lot of major attractions and very central. Lots of restaurants close by. Very clean and in a nice quiet street. The staff were very attentive and it was nice having the free coffee machine available. Beautifully decorated comfortable rooms in japan styling. This is a small boutique hotel.

Nothing negative

Stay at the hotel for three days. The hotel was not big, more like a boutique hotel. But had all you could need. At the lobby, they offer complimentary beverage and sweets. And late at night, complimentary ramen. Staff were friendly and made everything they could. Although we have problem with the language, I didn't speak Japanese, nor did they speak English, but they did their best. At the room, we also had complimentary beverages. Our last day breakfast was Japanese breakfast and was very good. And at check out, they gave us a little bag which had rice crackers, that was very kind from them.

Small rooms - couldn’t open our suitcase. There’s a smoking section in between the lobby and the elevator and the smell of cigarettes permeates if theres a smoking guest. We don’t speak Japanese (I know, our fault!) and had difficulty finding food around the hotel.

Nicely designed rooms with high quality materials. The bowl of noodles at night was so nice! Nice amenities in the room. Super clean!

The only thing I wish would have been a tiny bit different was the pillows. If the pillows had been a bit bigger, it would have been perfect. But that’s nit-picking. We still give it a 10 (the first 10 I think I’ve ever given).

This hotel was as close to perfect as a hotel can be. My wife and I loved everything about it from the room, to the beds, to the staff, to the food! Everything was spectacular!
