Excellent central location close to metro. Comfortable apartment with all the amenities required for a short stay. Owner is very accommodating with the early check in and luggage storage requests.

The space is a bit tight if you are big or tall, you also have to sort your own garbage and recycling before you leave, so if this is an issue for you, do keep that in mind. You will also have to hang your clothes to dry as there is only a washer. These weren't big hangups for me, but I know they can be for others

The area was very central for navigating around the Shinjuku area. It was comfortable to get to once you know how to get there. Thankfully the host provides directions, but it can still be a little tricky at first I also like that they are a functional apartment with a stovetop, fridge/freezer, ironing board, AC, microwave and TV. if you ever want to imagine what living in Japan must feel like on a day to day basis, I imagine this isn't too far off from reality.

Please be reminded there's no elevator for this apartment. For using the washing machine, you need to purchase washing power at supermarket.

The room was spacious and comfortable. Host was very responsive and prepared an info book in the room. He allowed early check-in for us!

While the location wasn't bad, it wasn't the best either. It is in a quiet, residential area of Shinjuku; not very near the places I wanted to visit. Next time, I would probably select a hotel nearer to Harajuku.

The location was okay. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. There were several restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The train station was not too far.

I chose the single bed type room, and the bed was creaky, and the mattress dipped in the middle after the first night, and didn't bounced back until I checked out. It caused a bit of a back pain. There was no shelves for clothes so the clothes and jackets must be hung on top of the bed. It was alright for me, but might be troublesome for other people. Also, there was no elevator in the building, and my room was on the 3rd floor. It was very hard to drag big luggages up and down. The owner had described this in their listing, so please be aware of it.

The apartment was in the middle of a quiet neighbourhood, but very close to the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku. There were tons of mini marts and super marts, making it easy to grocery shop and ship luggages. A small subway station was close by, with Shinjuku station within walking distance (if you like to walk!). Bus stops were nearby, too. Instructions on how to check in/out were great, and the host was very responsive. When I got lost, they stayed on the line until I found my way. I was very thankful! The apartment was squeaky clean, with wonderful bathroom (my fave part!). Both room and bathroom had heaters which were amazing for me during my stay in winter.

If you have a heavy suitcase and you are on top floor, only 4 floors but no lift.

Quiet location, quiet building /apartment. Modern, minimalist style, great space in this area for one person. If you want to avoid the regular busy hotel vibe this is the place. Oh great washing machine and bathroom.

A bedside table lamp would have been nice. The stone bathmat thing was cracked. I found the recycling a little confusing.

Perfect location in a quieter part of Shinjuku, a short walking distance from both Tochomae and Nishi-Shinjuku Gochome Stations. Very small but comfortable, quiet and clean. Perfect for a solo traveler. Having a washing machine and microwave was very convenient.

We asked and paid for a futon for my daughter to sleep on. We received a heavy style blanket for the floor. That didn't work, so we had put her into a hotel room nearby.

The building was nice, the apartment was small. I especially liked the washing machine and drying setup in the shower.

No elevator. If you have big luggage and your room is at 4th floor, consider there is no elevator. - No cleaning service or change of towels. - Annoying check-in process. - No toiletteries. - Far from JR Shinjuku Station (20 min)

Staff was unresponsive sometimes, and it was difficult to ask for assistance. The space is more cramped than pictured. Just know if you have 3 people, it will be a little tight. They also weren't willing to accommodate an extra blanket, stating they only provided 1 blanket for each bed. The bed was extremely creaky and moved no matter how carefully you slept on it. The washing machine had an issue, and we reported, they said they would send someone over to check but never followed up.

The location was great, easy to go in and out and had nearby stations. Quiet, perfect for convenience.

No lifts for luggage. Very compact space which taller or larger couples might find too tight. 1 person for the room would be OK. Need to get rid of the rubbish outside at the front of the building.

Clean. Dry box bathroom handy for drying clothes. Straightforward self check in. Closeish to Shinjuku if you don't mind walking ~25min.
