This guesthouse is excellent for its price. First of all, it is close to major train and bus stations, and is indeed just about seven minutes’ walk from the station as described. It is also close to restaurants with different price range and coin laundry shop, which helped travellers a lot. We booked two twin rooms with mountain view for our stay in late July 2023. We could always see Fuji-san from our windows. The rooftop terrace is, needless to say, also had wonderful view of the Fuji-san. But it’s more than that. It’s carefully decorated for cosy time for both adults and kids, with facilities that gave our children a great time playing happily under the mountain. Though the rooms have no toilet or shower facilities, they are always very clean and we never had to wait to use them. Given the extraordinarily low price of the rooms, we believe it is hardly a big issue. The rooms are on the second floor and it can only be accessed by stairs. Yet it poses no difficulty for me. What’s more , the host can communicate well in English. He even gave us some thoughtful gifts before our Fuji-san hiking. We would surely come back again if we can book it again.

Amazing place! Stayed here before and after our Fuji hike. I would stay stay here again. The host is so incredibly nice, the room had a breathtaking Fuji view, you can use the bicycles free of charge and even snacks and coffee is free. + the rooftop terrace / hammocks offers stunning views. Also it’s just a 7min walk from the station.

Everything was perfect.

Everything! Clean rooms, lovely communal areas both downstairs and on the roof terrace. Free snacks. We’re able to leave our luggage. Clean bathrooms. Comfy beds. The entire place had an amazing calm relaxing atmosphere. Finally, the kindest host with a very cute daughter. The host went out of his way to help us and welcome us. One of our favourite places we have stayed in our 6 months of travelling Asia.

The guesthouse is great! It's about 5 mins walk from the station. You can find many restaurants on the right side and a ramen and cafe on the left. Free bikes are available so you can easily ride to the park or shrine, this is super helpful. The owner is so friendly and helpful, helped me take the huge luggage and proposed several interests to go. The place is warm and home like, actually it's a home, the owner's family live on the 1st floor so it's very nice to stay with local as an experience. The room, shower and toilet are clean. In some rooms you can see the Fuji mountain. There's a nice terrace and I really enjoyed staying there working or doing nothing. It's a little bit noisy in the day because it next to the road but totally ok in the night. Will come back again and thanks for the hospitality.

Owner is great. Location near station and lake. Could leave our luggage early, get a free bike and cycle for 2 days. Owner even picked us up when we had a flat tire (9 km from guest house). Beds were great, location is prime. Would recommend.

The futon mattresses in the Japanese style room were a bit too thin for us, but it wouldn't stop us from staying again.

Loved everything about the stay, location, bicycles, facilities, can even dim lighting in your room. It is a very clean and comfortable place, would definitely stay again.

*Very helpful landyboss and they have a very cute girl. #My bag strap was broken suddenly, she saw it and immediately took the pin out and help me to tie them together. # As i need to make Bus Seat Reservations and the company nvr received the call, i borrow the phone with her 3 times and she very patient. * Free bicycle. * The Rooftop has Fuji View without blocking. * Free coffee, plain water and Japanese snacks. * My room is Tatami Japanese style room, it's big and I feel comfortable. * She provide me with a hand written layout listed with the recommended restaurant, it is so cute.

Futon beds were a bit hard. It’s great that they provided free bicycle rental, but they were low quality.

The host family is lovely and views on Mount Fuji from the guesthouse is stunning. Toilets & showers are shared but they keep it super clean and they have plenty so never had to wait. Free candies were delicious!

We were there in the middle of winter (February), and though there is a small heater for the common bathrooms, it still takes a few minutes to warm up the room and it was very cold in the corridors. But this is a minor remark compared to the quality of our stay.

The hotel is conveniently located 10 minutes walk from the main station. The staff is really lovely and helpful. Free use of bikes to ride around the lake and free snacks. The room is very simple but the window view on Mt Fuji makes it incredible! Beds are really comfy.
