How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Everything was great!
Perfect location - quiet, close to trains, busses, and a large grocery. The room was huge, clean and confortable. The staff went above and beyond to help us. Wonderful place to stay!

No nearby family mart/lawson. Nearest is At Kyoto station. Only one mirror in the toilet. Should have install one wall mirror in the room. free Rental mirror is limited.
Location is great! Near to Kyoto station (5mins walk).AEON mall is just next door. Easy access to food and transportation. Washington machine and heater available in the toilet, very convenient.

No dislike
Accommodation is very near to the train station and shopping mall. Friendly and helpful staff from all shifts. The room is clean, spacious, and comfortable. The unit looks the same as the picture posted online. We will definitely book it next time we visit kyoto if it is available as this Glanz KEI seems to be fully booked most of the time. 😀

The location is fantastic being close to Kyoto station. What really impressed us is the service by manager Yuko and his team Jacob as well as all other staff we’ve met. The team has been exceptional in their hospitality. We appreciated how the team went all out to ensure we felt at home and we are grateful for the care by Yuko and Jacob for my son when he fell sick. Our kids loved the games in the apartment and Netflix options. In their own words, “we don’t want to leave this apartment- please can we come back again”!

The smell from the trash in front off the elevator. Somebody seems to put dirty baby diapers!

Loved the location close to Kyoto station. The facilities were great for a family of 4. Also access to the mall and finally the washing machine made it a very comfortable stay. Highly recommend for families

Everything. Location is great, few restos around, big shopping mall just next to the hotel. Extremely nice and helpful staff, my children didnt want to leave. Room was very spacious and comfortable. The cherry on top was a small tv in the bathroom.

Cleanliness in some pointed as door, window frame. The noise from traffic outside in bed room is loudly. The higher floor or room in the back zone would be better.
Location is closed to train station, bus stop and Aeon Mall. Room space is big, facilities is full equipped as expected.

The hotel provides everything you could think of when you needed in your vacation. Very kids friendly with plenty of toys and board games. The location is right next to aeon, and groceries shopping wouldn’t be too far from the hotel.

The wifi was spotty at times. There is a cost if you exceed the laundry detergent allowance- not expensive. The windows were dusty. The clothes are hung dry in the bathtub room and it may take a bit to dry even with the dryer fan turned on.
Walking from train station to hotel and back can be difficult at night if you are using GPS or landmarks. The street is a quiet neighborhood and there are not as many street lights, however the area is Very Safe. 7 Eleven is about 1 1/2 block from hotel in a well light, heavy traffic area--super convienent for access to ATM, necessities and snacks. Kyoto train station is a very busy place and the walk from train station to hotel is about 8-10min if you walk in a leisure pace.

Hair dryer.
The room have enough space for all of us (5 person).The staff super friendly.Next to us is AEON mall with everything inside.Very close to Kyoto main station.We love this place and if we have a chance for our next trip,we'll definitely choose to stay here again.^^
