Really big space, and super comfortable to stay for a long period of time. Close to the JR station and close to some really nice restaurants. Would stay again.

The stove hood has sharp 90° corner are located at head/eye level. This is an occupational health and safety issue. An accident waiting to happen.

Missing a wipe cloth. This is the same with other apartments style hotel we stayed at too. There's a kitchen but no cloth to wipe benches and tables with.

No staff on-site. Self check-in was fairly simple. You are also given a link to check-in online before your arrival too. The space was nice & comfortable, just big enough for 4 adults. Parking very close by which is what we were after. Walkable to the city and beyond all the way to the aquarium! Nice to bring a bento box lunch to eat at the park next to the aquarium, looking at Sakurajima.

Lengthy check-in procedure. Wish the hotel can grab info from booking.com directly. No air conditioning when arriving. Took half hour to reach a pleasant temperature. Air quality in a smaller room is a bit worse then the main room.

the room lightings are abit dark. the initial booking communication is poor as keep sending instructions in Japanese only. pls send Japanese and English version together like other hotels did.

I love everything about this place: close to everywhere Ex. 7 eleven, parking, city attractions etc. Immaculate with lots of extra features: kitchen, clothes washer, comfortable beds and so on. The price is generously cheaper than other hotels we've stayed before and we were a family of 4 adults.

The room was small and was very tight for 3 adults. This is why up asked for the upgrade to a lager room that slept 5 people. I had a booking confirmation that said we were booked for the bigger room, but as this was a non-contact check in we found it hard to take up the matter with the hotel.

We booked our room and paid for an upgrade to a lager room, but this did not happen. When we alerted the Grand Base that we had not been allocated the room we paid for a superior triple room that sleeps x 5 we were told they did not receive an upgrade from booking.com and that as far as they were concerned, we had been given the correct room. We were told to take it up with booking.com ourselves.
